100&six

Tried on a whim not really having any expectations. Really blown away by the savoury dishes (tapas style plates of varying sizes). Every dish we got was next level. By comparison the dessert was a let down (peanut butter cup, way too much heavy, gloopy filling to not enough chocolate) but the rest was so good I still have to give five stars.

Lovely cosy spot for a coffee or a bite to eat. Seating downstairs is super cosy, and upstairs has larger tables for bigger groups or sit down meals. Interior is beautifully styled and staff are lovely. Menu is slightly pricey but good variety with vegan and vegetarian options. Food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious - good portion sizes too! Additional seating outdoors for sunny days.

We visited recently for the first time for dinner and weren't disappointed. Fantastic food and service, good atmosphere and clearly very popular. Dishes are designed to share, with interesting flavour combinations and pickles to bring out the flavours. Some dishes worked better than others, but they were all clearly made with lots of thought and finesse. Highlights included the broccoli, Jerusalem artichokes, and the triple cooked chips. Cocktails were interesting, and wine was good. Our waitress was the perfect combination of there when you wanted her without hovering, and honest about the dishes without up selling. It's pricier than your average high street restaurant, but you get a lot more creativity and skill, so it's definitely worth it!

Superb. I was really disappointed when the Richard III closed as it was the only place in Leicester that I'd found for a Sunday lunch that was better than purely "acceptable", so I was overjoyed when their former chef joined the team at 100&Six. I've eaten here three times now and think I have sampled everything single thing on the menu. Some items are quite quirky, but they all seem to work. The deep fried avocado sounds wrong but it's so damn tasty, the candied bacon is bloody morish, the red Leicester and ham croquettes are so gooey and unhealthy, and the Sunday lunch is top notch.
