Cafe Malveen

Good quality ingredients. Cooked and prepared when ordered. This cafe is one of the very few places I will eat as the food is nice, cooked when ordered and better quality. They will not bring out a pot of disgusting margerine when you ask for butter... Which says a lot! The cafe however is not the most comfortable or well decorated but it is clean - albeit the tables sometimes are a little bit sticky. But I only go for a decent quality breakfast.

Nice, quaint café just off Charles Street. The food consists of a good selection of sandwiches prepared whilst you wait as well as for hot plate options, including breakfast. A good mix of cakes are also available. Clientele is definitely of the middle-aged variety so this may not be the place for a young crowd, which may suit the middle-aged just fine! There's no overbearing music so you can sit and enjoy a cuppa and conversation in relative tranquillity. All in all a cosy establishment that shouldn't be overlooked in favour of the major franchises we have in town.
