Coffee Ethic

Been here before but the service was amazing this morning! The lady was so welcoming and had a great vibe! I was to come back again now! Also, menu is great and I love that they do pancakes! I'm having a great time doing a bit of work on the laptop. Im assuming they are ok with remote workers for a few hours if you buy enough food.

Lovely little cafe full of delicious food (including vegan delights such as pancakes and a rich chocolate brownie). They do a delicious vegan afternoon tea (just book 48 hours in advance) that begins with warm scones, jam and cream. This is then followed by sandwiches with 4 different filings afterwhich you are provided with numerous cakes. As of that wasn't enough you get a much tea as you desire. Trust me, don't have breakfast/lunch depending on what time you're going, you need the full stomach room. If (and when) you don't eat it all, they box it up for you to take home. The customer service is delightful and I have returned many times with vegans and non vegans for tea and food. Totally worth a visit!

Apparently ethically sourced coffee, which is quite important. The coffee is decent, but it's not my ideal kind of roast, unless it was over extracted during the prep of my coffee. Again, that's not to say it's bad, it's decent, just not my ideal. Will try other drinks when I get the chance. Tried the coconut loaf cake, which if you love coconut, you cannot go wrong with. Didn't make it in time to give the breakfast menu a shot. The venue has a downtempo and rustic look to it, which seems to be the coffee shop trend these days. Needs to get a bit more of the lived/worked in clutter, but that comes with time.
