We bring our dogs here to have a run off the lead. It cost £10 for an hour and the field is locked off and fenced off the whole way around. We even had food and drinks brought out to us.
The dogs absolutely love it
Food nice but a little small on portions especially for the price. Bit of a mother and toddlers group late morning. but no naughty ones while I was there, so not a problem!! Alpaca are a bit ignorant, but the goats were friendly enough.
Lovely place, free parking, great for kids and good access for wheelchairs. Tearoom was lovely and a good selection on offer. I loved the animals, dave the alpaca was fab and loves a walk.
The dog grooming, doggie daycare and dog training facilities are amazing and the staff are great. ❤️
Lovely big barn conversion into a tea room, well thought out and great furniture. Food was delicious. My only criticism is there wasn't any menu's on the tables and the cakes weren't labelled in the cabinet. Not everyone likes to ask about prices or food availability. They have a secure paddock for dogs to run around off lead, which just needs booking online, which is a great use of the space they have. Fantastic first impression, we will be back!
Beautiful tearoom. Not well organised finding tea room with not much sinage. Nice breakfast but overcooked bacon & hash browns but would return
Had a stop here today 17th Feb 2023 whilst driving around the countryside with a few other cars.
The car park is very large and easy to access.
The tea room is in a purpose built large barn fitted out with tables chairs and so comfy sofas.
They have a hot food menu and today had six huge lovely looking homemade style cakes which we chose over the menu, we were given very generous slices of cake that we washed down with a nice coffee. They were really good....
The access is easy for abled and disabled and wheel chair access is possible.
The on site toilets were clean and tidy and the cubicles are large with hand basins and blow hand dryers, three single cubicles and a larger wheel chair access one with baby changing facilities all unisex separated suitably.
It was quite busy but service was reasonably quick.
The tea room is located behind a field filled with alpacas, goats and geese which you can feed with food bought on site, you can also visit the cows in the cow sheds.
There's also an indoor play area for young children called smallville role play.
I think in the summer they also have a further play area and picnic tables outside the tea room. For eating food bought on site.
At the rear of the plot there is a knots and tangles pet grooming service and a large fenced field which you can hire to let your dogs run free.
The signs said that there is also Missy's emporium not too visible on this visit but we thought it referred to the stone figures of various animals and some old style farm bits that were for sale.
Great place to visit with children and dogs. There is a field for hire to let your dog off for a run. There are farm animals for the kids to say hello to and a nice cafe serving great food and drinks.
A large carpark that's free with easy disabled access.
Family enjoyed the Alpaca walk followed by a superb afternoon tea. Great afternoon for all the family.
My partner took me for an Easter treat, and what a treat it was. I had a delightful 45 minutes walking round the pasture, in the sun, with the furry Emilio who was terribly cute. And a lovely chat with the very friendly, and knowledgeable, owner James.
The afternoon tea was delicious and generous and I had some animal therapy with the horses and the very excitable Missy. Absolutely lovely afternoon, can't wait to return. Thank you 😊
Loved this place, initially stopped for a drink. Ended up with tea and cakes food for animals and time in gift shop ,85 year old mum loved the animals and wheel chair access, only 1 minor was car park uneven for mum with walker but no real worries as we helped her to path and she was fine, cake was amazing
