Costa Coffee

Went once when it had just opened in the morning and the drinks were lovingly handcrafted and were the best Costa drinks I’ve ever had. Went back a week or two later and it was a bit busier, counter was not clean (despite it being 10am on a Sunday) and the drinks not so good. So perhaps some more training is required for some staff.

The magic land of coffee. If you want magic coffee go here, they expertly transfer the liquid nectar into those wonderful takeaway paper thingys, hmmm, cups. Then, this is the impressive part, they manage to expertly reduce your bank balance while making you think it was reasonable, and occasionally they get you to upgrade the coffee beans, and as we all know we are all experts in coffee beans, and can defiantly tell the difference (usually the staff bet on the mark they think will fold). It's coffee, better than instant and different types, and that I guess is what people want, so 5 stars.

Cosy coffee shop. I like their food & coffee and the standard always remains the same. The cleanliness of the shop wasn't at its highest level but they did seem to be short on staff. This didn't affect service though. Food and drinks were handed over in good time. Toilets were disabled friendly and baby changing facilities were also available. Toilet was clean and tidy.

Such an amazing location with so many great things. Staff were very friendly and inviting from the moment I entered, and the drink was prepared in no time! The atmosphere is so soothing and incredibly relaxing. I ordered a red summer berries fruit cooler and it did exactly that. I got hit with a mouthful of refreshing and delicious fruit and it was perfect for a day of running around. The decor is up to Costa standards, and everything is impeccable and clean. Would recommend this location a million times over!

A nice sized branch of Costa on the first floor of the Highcross centre (not to be confused with the branch inside Debenhams on the lower floor or the branch outside on the corner of Shires Lane and Freeschool Lane that Costa refer to as Costa High Cross). There's the usual selection of Costa drinks and food with a decent amount of seating and an accessible toilet. Being inside the Highcross centre it can get quite busy and service does seem to be slow at times but generally I enjoy drinking here with my family.
