I loved this place. What a hidden delight. The tea/cakes were plentiful. The gifts there are unique,great price and perfect for a loved one. Great service too!! X

Isolated by dint of surrounding demolition. Very clean and well preserved inside, belying the exterior. Bass Red Label on handpull, all the rest are pillar taps. Expect a warm welcome.

Bobbie is a great host. I was welcomed in a pub and city I'd never visited. Felt like home from home. Bass on cask is fantastic.

Proper old style English pub, it isn't flash, the drinks aren't overpriced and the owner, staff and people there are good ones. Can't fault it and regularly visit for a couple of games of pool with the child

Members Club. Been a member since the 80's. A friendly place with a brilliant atmosphere for you to relax. Helpful and confident staff who enhances your experience of the venue. Good selection of beverages at reasonable prices. A nice selection of homemade food which compliments your palate.

Love it lovely pub not many left now in which are safe the royal oak another good 1 the cherry tree is still a family run pub

Cozy pub, good atmosphere. Jukebox is present, pool table, a beer garden and they are occasionally hosting acoustic performances and open mic nights - what else can you ask for! Rather small though.
