Now stayed a couple of times and it doesn't let me down. Rooms are comfy, food is good and the staff are on happy pills or something. Really nice place because of the staff.

We haven't stayed at the hotel, but came for dinner and Drag Show.
We've been to music events here before, and always enjoyed it.
However the drag artist last night was too crude, and the music far too loud. We had to shout to be heard. Not a pleasant experience.
The amazing Sheila Vimm was billed to appear, however due to circumstances had to be replaced.
The replacement was very disappointing and not the standard that we are used to seeing at the Field Head.
The staff are very nice and the food is tasty.
Drinks are a reasonable price.
We will be coming back to see future tribute artists. 👌

I stay here regularly on business. Great location close to M1 but in a nice quiet area. Staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Overall great value.

Came for lunch today, service from Avril
And Dan was great, polite, friendly and helpful. Slight wait for food, but worth it. Had the chicken ceaser salad and it was brilliant. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely family meal here last Saturday evening. Pub itself is cosy with beams and tasteful decor. All the staff and manager were attentive and saw to our every need. We were a mix of ages from 12 to 80 and the menu catered for us all, with something for everyone. Steaks were cooked well and salad well prepared, fresh and with a dressing - I may be in a minority when I say I judge somewhere by its side salad but I do! It shows care and attention to detail. Great starters too, I had calamari which was gorgeous. Most of us finished with a mini dessert and hot drink which was the perfect end to a lovely family meal. Thanks George & Co!

The eggs for breakfast are amazing!!
Sunday lunch tastes completely home cooked and it feels just like a lovely, contemporary ran, local pub serving amazing food.
It can get quite busy at the weekend but if you book in advance, never had a problem!
All the staff seem very attentive and friendly.

l have stayed at this hotel for some year now on business and probably slept in every room! The hotel is a great place, warm, welcoming, staff cannot do enough for you to enjoy your stay, very friendly and treat you like you are indeed important. The old charm and food is great also. Brilliant venue for meetings.

Amazing pub!! My family and I came for a meal our waitress for the night Elisha was very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond. 100% recommend and will definitely be back!!!
