I have been going here ever since they opened at this new premises and also used to go to the old premises they started from on Belgrave road! I believe they are rated in top ranks of indian, gujarati, vegetarian, authentic home cooked style food and snacks to takeaway! They use clean sunflower oil, not cheap rapeseed or gmo soya, their flavors and well balanced throughout the foods range to suit and entice most taste buds! Their prices and not the cheapest, but are reasonable and you get what you pay for, fresh cooked with good clean ingredients! I would recommend this top takeaway to anyone without a second thought! Always a clean premises in the kitchen and in shop floor and a polite friendly service with a smile! As it's said, "Don't knock it till you try it"! Go and enjoy their foods!

After reading about this amazing company on the BBC website, I placed our first order. I can confirm, it will not be our last! Everything is delicious, homemade and authentic. The sweets have almost gone within an hour of receiving them and the snacks, breads and samosas are fantastic too. Just received our shipment from Popat Mithai and Farsan and immediately wanted to leave a review. I ordered different mithai (kaju katri, motichur ladoos, barfi) and farsan (cornflakes chiwda, banana chips, nankhatis etc) for my husband's birthday. We live in Kent, having moved here from London, so hard to find Indian sweets. Extremely impressed with the packaging and delivery! The quality of the mithai is simply superb! I will definitely be ordering from Popat Mithai in future, and certainly be recommending them to family and friends. Thank you!

Great place for Rotis Theplas and all sweets and savouries. We ordered Roti, methi thepla and garlic theplas. Just too good. What’s best is they deliver it to all parts of UK! What a relief. Shame, it would be great if they can deliver their delicious curries ( it doesn’t travel well unfortunately). Have used them for many years and continue to do so. Recommend everyone to order food.

Ordered first time with Popat Mithai for delivery to my daughter who live away from home . The order came in good time and the food was fresh, well packaged and delicious. What more can you ask? It truly is a home away from home. Ordered first time around 150 pounds worth for delivery. All items fresh and well packed, true to taste expected. I have seen quality of items is low even when high priced items bought in India due to use of cheap oil and salt content and I stopped buying them from India long time ago. Popat has mastered the art very well. Special mention to puran poli and methi thepla, very well made. For sure, regular customer from now on.
