Pleasant Street Diner

I am here every week and the staff is fantastic, especially my Sunday waitress! It is my favorite breakfast spot. I look forward to the great environment, outstanding food, and substantial portions. I have yet to leave hungry. The price for the quality cannot be expressed enough. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time and a wonderful meal.

Great food at super prices. Not sure if the waitress was having a bad day or not, as she scolded us for pushing 2 tables together to accommodate my husband, who uses a wheelchair. Service was a little slow. However the food was very good and good sized portions. We will try again. Hopefully it was a one off.

Fish & Fries were way over cooked. They need to time them better. Fish should not be dry, very moist flakes is the desired way to serve fish,. Light colored fries not only look better but taste a whole lot better than burnt. The lobster roll was the best and well worth the money, I will go there again and tell them how I want things cooked, I believe in second chances,

A great little hole-in-the-wall off of route 56. I'm not from the area, and really needed a coffee and some eats--this was a great find. It's a small, intimate place with friendly staff. The food was good--the home fries were definitely from scratch and I'm pretty sure my omelette had some fresh spinach in it too. The portions were hearty for the price, and I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. Overall, if you're looking for something on the way to/from Spencer or Leicester, this is a great little diner.

I enjoyed their fish and chips but they need to work on their wait time. Don't promise something in 15 minutes if it's going to take an hour. Also, I ordered the onion rings but got fries. It was take out and I discovered it when I returned to my mother-in-law's condo. Too hungry and too tired to return.
