I always buy my Bubble Tea from here! They have so many varieties and delicious flavours. The Oreo Milkshake Boba will always be my favourite, it’s not too sweet and has the perfect amount of Oreo flavour and the Golden Boba is amazing. I also love their fruit teas, and their popping pearls which include many different types. For example Watermelon fruit tea with ice cream, or you can get it with cream cheese or just the pearls (I recommend Apple or Mango)
Their Coffee Boba are okay, not as good as their other drinks. I recommend their Pistachio Coffee with Boba, it’s so delicious.
I’ve visited their shop once and received very good service there, however I once ordered online and my drink came without my Boba! Fortunately I got a refund back
Stopped in here yesterday afternoon to load up on tea before a long drive south. Was warmly greeted by (presumably) the owner as I went in and decided to try something different as well as my usual dirty milk tea, so wound up with an ovaltine tea as well. The teas were really good - up there with the best I've had. The boba balls were lovely and soft, the tea was "normal" sweetness but not over sweet. Just perfect really.
I had parked at the Tesco down the road, but as I left, the owner thoughtfully offered a helpful parking tip (plus he'll bring out my order) that will make it even easier to stock up on tea for my regular long drives, so I'll definitely make the detour here first.

I unfortunately haven’t actually visited the cafe as I got my drink delivered so I can’t really comment on the actual shop. But seeing their menu they have a large selection of drinks to choose from. Plus they have lots of add-ins/ topping options. I ordered a milky matcha tea and added some red bean which was recommended and it surprised me, in a good way. I enjoy matcha anyway but it was my first time trying red bean. I don’t think it’s to everyone’s liking though. I’m looking forward to ordering and trying something new again.
This is my first time ever trying bubble Tea and its so delicious and so tasy. I 100% reccomend coming here its so nice and the staff are very lovely too. Their products are outstanding and they make the best bubble teas ever. I would definitely reccomend coming here :)
Also, i really love the atmosphere of the shop and the outstanding decorations too and products because their drinks are the best you can ever taste
Best boba i’ve tried in Leicester yet!! I ordered a large dirty boba milk tea + cake. The boba balls are the softest and have the perfect sweetness. The tea is equally sweet and strong. Delicious cake too! The staff are really nice and the place is soo aesthetically pleasing.
Hey sugar makes the best bubble tea in leicester, without a doubt. Their tapioca pearls are the best, so soft and chewy and you can tell they are so fresh. The store keepers are super kind. They also bring baked goods from a bakery in birmingham, and every thing I’ve tried from these are also super good. Don’t bother trying any other boba shop, just go to hey sugar and enjoy it by the river 🧋
me and my friend were walking through leicester and stumbled upon this store. I’m so glad that we came in! The staff were very accommodating and lovely, they recommended us this wonderful caramel milk tea and ill never forget the taste of it. The interior of this store is so pretty and cozy💖 ill be coming here again! 5/5 stars ✨
Really nice bubble drink. Very kind attention and fast service. When you order the drink they serve it in a plastic glass fully covered so you can drink it there or take it home, very handy. Delicate decoration in the shop. Affordable price £3.50 for a bubble drink. When you eat the bubbles they break and then you have an explosion of taste in your mouth.
By far, the best bubble tea in the midlands! Highly recommend salty pineapple and mango passion with lychee jelly!
Amazing bubble tea. Balls were super soft. Will definitely visit again to try more teas and food.
