I really recommend this place. I'm a wheelchair user and made our first trip out to Birdies today. The place has Good wheelchair access. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had the small Cornish breakfast and just wow every bit of it was fresh and cooked to perfection. Will defiantly be back.
We've enjoyed a nice breakfast here on a couple of occasions, and so decided to visit Birdies Bistro and try out dinner for a change this evening. To say we were totally blown away by the food is an understatement! The fish kedgeree and rubbed BBQ chicken were absolutely delicious, ever so flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The service was also spot on; the two lovely ladies who served us throughout were both very warm, welcoming and polite, and as always, our coffees were fab too. We will definitely visit Birdies for an evening meal again, and if you haven't tried their dinner menu yet, it is a must! Thank you for a wonderful experience! �����!
The restaurant has very nice scenery, surround with farm and you can see the train run pass. The food were very good and tasty. Outdoor area was so nice in the morning. I’ve been there for breakfast. Food served quite fast even guest was crowded.
This is a lovely little gem of a place. Right by the estuary, with a large free car park, and an impressive amount of seating both inside and out. All staff we spoke to very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly as well. We had coffee/tea and cake (very impressive choice available including KatJacks) and they were excellent, definitely a place to come to again if in the area.
Visited again for a late breakfast which was excellent.
It has been a long time since we have been to Birdies and it was great! The new interior is looking amazing, the service is fantastic and the food is great. Little one loved his breakfast and the views from outside. We will be back for sure
We enjoyed our full breakfast. Everything was perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed the last bit of nice weather at a lovely establishment. Highly recommended 👌🏻
Had a lovely meal at Birdies today, recommend the Katsu burger... delicious.. 2 fillets of breaded chicken in a brioche bun, skinny fries and Asian slaw... excellent. Great atmosphere at swift service.
In all the years I’ve been visiting Hayle I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this absolute gem! The food was simply delicious I thoroughly recommend this o anyone staying in the area. The setting is so cool, fresh and clean. Can’t wait to return!
Great place to eat with stunning views. Great atmosphere and great friendly staff. We have eaten here many times before and never had a bad experience. Would highly recommend.

Always a great place to stop for a coffee. Walked here from Carbis Bay. Friendly service. Amazing cakes and seems to serve a great brunch however we were just having a coffee. Lovely sitting outside overlooking Hayle Estuary.
Took my mother for lunch at Birdies and had a lovely bubble and squeak. We arrived just before lunch service at 12 we parked right out the front in birdies own car park. All the staff were lovely and greeted us well and offered information. The setting was superb I expect it would be even better in the warmer months and able to sit outside. It was busy when we arrived and full when we left. Meals were priced around 15-20 and executed very well with good sized meals. You can't make a reservation here so bear that in mind we found it busy but no one was stood waiting. Well run and well organised actually a little gem I will return, only thing if I was thinking ahead is go on a high tide to get the views to 100%. Free parking, tasty food and Excellent location is what you can expect which all compliments a wonderful dining experience.
Lovely spot for dining outside and the views of the estuary are amazing!
Staff are friendly and attentive.
