Very friendly greeting and querky course explained to us and the dangers to watch out for. A few blind Tee Shots but overall a pleasant experience. Greens were very fast and in very good order. Some wonderful views.
A very warm and friendly welcome to Barnes for we non members . Sunday Lunch was £16 one course and £20 for two with a choice of soup, crab and prawn cocktail or chicken liver pate, mains choice was gammon , turkey and beef .
Very tender beef and turkey and a good choice of cabbage, carrots , swede, cauliflower, broccoli with mash and roast potato’s . Quality throughout was very good perhaps the roasts could be better, service was perfect . Perhaps the ambience was lacking and I would have preferred a “ smaller appetite “ choice but definitely worth a visit .
Played golf there this week. Fantastic day out. Lovely course. Special thanks to Dave the bar manager for really making us feel welcome.
Pace of play was slow on Saturday after 1.00pm and greens weren’t in the best condition. Patchy and on the slow side. Blind holes and no course guide to buy.
As a non golfer I still think this is a great place to visit. You do not need to be a member and the food is very good and keenly priced. You can park easily and the views are fantastic. So many people walk past on way to Porthkidney beach and they do not realise what an oasis is near them. Large bar, very large seating area, inside and out. COVID organised very well, suits such a large well spread out space and it’s not as busy as other pubs, restaurants etc. Do snacks, full meals and good desserts without the usual lunch/dinner opening times. Well worth a visit and to top this August 2020 sees half price eat out deal here Monday to Wednesday. Check out the views if you still need persuaded . . .

This place is beautiful and all the houses are clean and wonderful we met a staff member Clair and she was really helpful,nice and hardworking lady.This place is the best place to relax and all the people here are so nice!We recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax over the holidays
Eaten there on numerous occasions, they now have a pizza oven, son had pizza a really enjoyed it
Totally amazing in every way. We had our wedding reception here. And it was brilliant in every way. The food was fantastic and the service and attention to detail was faultless. Ruth, John and their staff were very impressive. Our day was truly perfect. Thank you all so much ❤️
