Freshly cooked to order very welcoming service from Khan the gentleman dishing up the food. Generous portions proper chips

We ate in at lunchtime. Stools and a small table with no cutlery (small wooden forks on request). No tap water, (small bottles £1.70). Salt and vinegar the only condiment. Very good for a takeaway, the fish and the chips were delicious, not sure that I would eat in again.

Hole to be back next time I'm near the black horse inn for the pub quiz.
This was our pre match/quiz warm up tonight.
Excellent fish and chips, but the pathetic chip forks we were offered were no substitute for proper cutlery, and as we were eating in, we had no alternative but to eat hot, greasy food with our fingers. Not happy 😖 …
Best fish and chips for miles. Beware though, the portions are huge. Little high on the price. 4 large fish, 3 portions of chips and 1 Savoy =£54 but you do get served a lot.
Tried the place after 2 years still the same. Entire box of chips undercooked. Sausages not tasty. The man working said he works 65 hours a week. The owners really need to address this because it’s affecting the food quality. Defiantly not happy! More expensive than other shops and not as good. Will not be a returning customer.
