The food , service , and atmosphere here are all top notch. A mix of a local pub feel with a restaurant area for making it feel special � the 3 course children’s menu for £10 was especially fabulous!!

By far the best meal I have ever eaten, so glad we found this lovely place. Made our few days in Leyburn extra special.
The food was absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented and all lovingly freshly prepared. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for money considering the quality of the dishes. Restaurant was a little quiet but we were quite late to dine and out of season. I can imagine there is a real buzz in there when it is busier. Tastefully decorated in simple stylish rustic Yorkshire style. Highly recommend. We may go and stay next time were in the area too.
Stunning meal and right from the beginning we got welcoming vibes. I rang on Friday afternoon on the off chance and were made to feel so welcome by the lady I assume is the owner. During our meal she was so attentive and genuinely caring. The food was absolutely sublime we had the Lamb and Beef cheek. It was so tender and delicious. We would certainly return if lucky to be in the area again… Sticky toffee pudding alone deserves some sort of prize. Thank you
Brilliant little restaurant inside this place. The food was delicious and the service excellent. It isn't pub food so you pay a little more but well worth it for a quality meal which has been prepared with care. We sat in a large but still cosy dining room and there was another dining area across the hall. Really enjoyed our visit, definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic meal out here for a birthday! The staff were super knowledgeable about the menu and the seasonality of the food, and everything was so fresh. I had an oriental duck salad, which really was divine - lots of interesting and delicious flavours. Highly recommended!
We have just moved to Harmby and we were very pleased to find that the Sandpiper was in the Michelin guide and it was only just up the road so we could not wait to try it out.
You will not be disappointed great food and front of house and we will be defiantly be frequenting the Sandpiper often....

We got there too early and they happily opened up for us and we got drinks straight away. The dining room is lovely and the staff were great, giving enough attention and a friendly atmosphere. It was a family meal and we all really enjoyed it. We all had starters and mains of different meals, which were all faultless

We ordered the cod (they brought a very decent chunk of cod) perfectly cooked and the fish cake which was the best I have ever had. Sorry, the photo shows the after but both plates were mopped, it was delicious. The bread was a bit tight though, and has room for improvement. But the place is definitely worth.
We celebrated my wife's 60th birthday here on Friday and WOW
The venue is beautiful, warm and atmospheric. Staff were as amazing as any I have ever had the pleasure to meet. And the food, what can I say......simply stunning.
And I have got to thank the girls because when I booked, I told them that it was my wifes 60th celebration. So when it was time for them to bring my wife's birthday plate, they were genuinely confused because they couldn't believe that she was 60. That was probably the best gift she received and made her feel a million dollars. So ladies, thank you so much. We had an amazing evening
