Fantastic customer service on entry, greeted with a smile. Promptly took my order which was all cooked fresh. Fantastic value for money, a real gem in the local area.
Not that I required it but it is good to see that the entrance is wheelchair friendly.

My daughter had a yen for fish and chips, dropped into the Bracebridge Heath fish bar and bought back piping hot fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was really meaty and tasty, the chips were done to a turn and the peas were, well mushy!!! All very good.

Fairly priced, reasonable selection and somewhat quick service.
On Monday evenings from 4:30pm onward they provide a gluten free option for both batter and vinegar, the staff I've spoken to are both friendly and allergy aware.
Food wasn't too greasy and didn't taste like it had been sat in the oil all day like some other places, portions are quite large too.
Only downside is the waiting area is a little small but this is to make room for eat in area for the lunch crowd.

Really nice and friendly place. Popped in here to grab a takeaway to eat in the car but when we realised there was seating inside, decided to eat in and make a proper lunch of it with a pot of tea. Very clean and the fish and chips superb and nicely presented. Lovely down to earth staff who look after you. A cracking good chippy. Will definitely be back again.
