The Swan Holme

I liked the atmosphere as soon as we walked in, friendly greeting and a nice quiet corner table. The waitress came straight away, but gave us time to peruse the menu. The soft drinks were beautifully presented and we had a very relaxing visit. The restaurant was busy, (sign of a good place) but we didn't sense it at any time. Our waitress was kept very busy, we could see that, but she was delightful friendly and smiling. The steak sandwiches were delicious and the fries were wonderful. We were tempted to try the creme brulee, that was very good indeed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Swan Holme !

Service = 1000000/10 !! Came to the area for a birthday celebration, booked a table of 3 and the dog! Was so happy to be given a real table not just a table in the bar like some places because of the dog. It was a Wednesday evening however, the atmosphere was as if it were a Friday / Saturday night ! Very busy which was lovely. It was clear the staff were under on numbers and it did show a little however, the staff on the floor who were taking orders and serving food etc I honestly could not fault there service one bit! It was clear they were rushed off their feet as it was so busy but their service was outstanding ! Thank you so much ! Shoutout to Louise who served us ! 👏🏻👏🏻 (name on the receipt, hope I’ve got the right name)

Fathers day brunch was fabulous, the food was amazing, best veggie breakfast I have have had in an age, warm welcome from Chris and the friendly lovely service from Lian was the icing on the cake, all of this and being super dog friendly makes eveything even better, highly recommend, will be back v.soon 😊 P.s Mollie highly recommends the treats too 🐶🐾

The food was really good, my son wasn't too impressed with the limited selection of burgers so had the ribeye steak instead "it was decent" high praise indeed! The rest of us enjoyed our meals. The sticky platter starter was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, we weren't rushed and the surroundings are pleasant.
