Noodle Soup Restaurant

In Lincoln for business and asked my client for a recommendation for Mexican food and this was it. Arrived for lunch and place was not very busy at that time. Nice atmosphere and clean inside. Staff was great and even joked around a few times which was fun. Food arrived quickly but I was surprised that no rice or refried beans came with it. Also no chips and salsa offered free, so I ordered. Food tasted very good and really have no complaints on flavor or portion size. Would return and eat there again when I'm back in the area.

We were very disappointed! The service was fine; however the chips tasted like the oil they were fried in hadn't been changed in way too long. My husband ordered a steak and potato burrito and received cold, flavorless ground beef instead. My food was cold and tasteless. The worst part, however, was when the manager came in and proceeded to rag on the server loudly and in front of her customers about lunch service that didn't go smoothly. From what he said it sounded like food and mixed drinks were taking too long coming out. Neither of those things were her responsibility but she took the brunt of it anyway. He also mentioned that he had a full kitchen staff. We couldn't understand why our food was cold and tasteless. This manager needs trained in how to manage his business rather than using the good help he has as a public punching bag. So unprofessional! Props to the server for not just walking out! I would have.

I'll give La Paloma 5 stars on their house made flour chips alone. They are wonderful. They have some great salsa to go along with them as well. Everything I've had here has been really good though. My go to is usually the Fajita Burrito. That being said, their fish tacos are probably my favorite thing here. If you just want to relax with your family or friends, eat a lot of Mexican food, and later go into a food coma, this might be the place for you!

I go to and review a lot of restaurants, this was an outstanding Mexican restaurant. In discussing what to order the owner recommended shrimp fajitas with guacamole and flour tortilla chips, based on my preferences. Everything was outstanding. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place
