Wendy's

The one drive through place in Lincoln that I trust at this point. Good food, good friendly service, always very fast. On the rare occasion that I've ever had to come around again because something was left out, they've never once given me any grief for it and usually go a little above and beyond (which is apparently not true for other locations on either point).

The food is always fantastic, and this time was no exception. The burger was big, fresh, and tasty. Their relatively new fries are truly phenomenal when you get them hot out of the frier. This is why I go inside to eat these days; if I went through the drive thru they'd be a bit cooler by the time I ate them, and that'd be a travesty; they'd merely be good. Hot out the frier, they are the best fries I've ever tasted. The place was relatively clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. The service was OK, but not great. The crew member took my order and wrang it up, then told me my total and literally walked away to go do something else. She did give me my cup before scarpering off, but I had to reach under the plexiglass and tear my receipt from the printer myself. She was getting ready to close the dining room at like 2:00 pm, as it turns out. She posted signs at the doors saying only the drive thru would be open, sorry. Maybe they are still impacted by the labor shortage; the sign didn't elaborate.

First off they neglected to say to go to the second window then the guy was trying so hard to make the female employee laugh rather than look at the customer in the eyes and gave me a frosty with the lid off and messy plus he didn't know which frosty was mixed and which wasn't. Thank you so much for the wrong frosty I hate mixing chocolate and strawberry. 84th & Hwy 2 location.

I love Wendy's but this one is holding their chicken at way too low a temperature and unless they are the most poorly managed location in the country they are absolutely doing it on purpose. Instead of getting the hottest, freshest, juiciest premium chicken sandwich in the business you're very likely going to get the coldest, oldest, driest one. I purchased 2 sandwiches and a large drink for over $16 bucks. For that price I expect hot, juicy, and fresh every time. Oh yeah and all the toppings I asked for too. Two out of three this time.

Fries are piping hot and they stay that all the way home, their burgers are alway delicious and bacon is crispy but not over cooked. The lettuce is crisp and fresh.. Their app always has deals you can use to get a discount. If I crave for 🍔, I tend to flock to Wendy's. This time I had a bourbon burger. PS. I didn't break the bank...
