Beach Hut Deli

I went to the restaurant with my family of 7. The restaurant was empty and we chose a booth to sit at. As we were sitting down the manager asked us to leave the premises because my two youngest children (ages 3 and 7) were holding hamburgers from a different restaurant (they didn’t want sandwiches). I told the manager that we were going to order four sandwiches and pointed out the restaurant was empty but they ejected us anyway. Turned a fun family outing into a disappointing afternoon, we will not be patronizing this restaurant again.

Although I do love the sandwiches, their not so good that I would have to risk my life for them. I get that some people want to believe the pandemic and the past year have been a huge hoax, but for the hundreds of thousands who died, it definitely wasn’t. As of 07/28/21 California passed a statewide mandate to implement wearing masks while indoors again. Literally NONE of the people there today were wearing masks. And of course I’m not talking about the people who were actively eating or drinking.

I LOVE the sandwiches but the service at this location has been repeatedly horrible! We ordered 3 sandwiches the other day for pick up when we got there they had only made 2, so we had to wait longer for the 3rd. Then to top it off got outside and one of the sandwiches had a hair in it so back we went. As we waited even longer they made another one, but not once was there an acknowledgment or anything for their mistakes. We also had to ask about 4 times for a side of peppers. Won't be returning to this location.

Great food. This place is usually packed with lunch goers but have never had a long wait. Friendly service, huge plates and plenty of seating. There's a few sandwich options in Lincoln, but Beach Hut should be high on the list of options. Food is customizable for your pallet, brew options tend to be a little IPA heavy (but what isn't these days?), and never had an order mistake. Been to a few BHD, this one is my favorite

A local favorite and voted best sub sandwich place in Sacramento multiple times for good reason. Well known for their jaw dropping portions of meat, and creative combinations. A perfect place for sandwhich connoisseurs.The place has a great vibe, nice place to meet up with friends, watch sports or sit under the cool misters on the patio. Be prepared to spend a little more, however. But you won't be disappointed.
