El Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

It was the best I have ever had!!!! REAL Crab, lobster, shrimp, scallops, white fish, sautéed onions, green pepper, with a slice of fresh cactus and grilled banana pepper on top smoothered in cheese. All served in a sizzling hot molcajete. On the side they gave me a huge plate of rice. Beans. Lettuce. Guacamole. Sour cream. Chips and salsa for starters were delicious too. Brought them before we even ordered a drink! Service was exceptional. Our server was Raul. We tipped great because he deserved it. So nice and friendly. Super fast. Everyone was on it.

Wow!!! We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked here for dinner. It was amazing! The good choices weren't like any Mexican restaurant we have ever been to, and we've been to a lot of them. Drink options were fantastic and the prices were so reasonable for the amount and quality of food. This is a fabulous place with good service included. This is a place worthy of a road trip when we aren't actually traveling! Check it out!!

My husband and I arrived at about 2:45pm & we had a group of 22 people. They were Not busy at all & we picked a back corner area to set up. Everyone arrived about 5-8minutes later. Everyone pretty happy knew what they wanted. It took a moment to get everyone their drinks & chips/salsa...& all was good, at that point. Their were Several ladies & wanted to order off their "lunch" menu. Not so much for price but because their "dinner" meals are large. Too much food. We were told NO. It's after 3pm. I picked up my phone & the time was 3:06pm....& No. I am Not kidding! Mind you that was after we had sat there...Waiting for Them!!!! Anyway...GREAT food....but long story short. Do NOT go here for.."customer service" or to brighten your day. IF I eat there again..it Will be Take Out!

It's ok. The menu is very nice with plenty of options. Lunch specials are very good prices. The free chips and salsa are also ok. Basic red salsa is pretty basic and not much thickness to it. The drink menu has plenty to choose from. Service was also ok. I would have happily ordered another margarita or two but they never asked if I wanted another.

The strawberry Margarita was great and came with an orange and cherry. The Vegetarian Fajita was fantastic as well and was unique since it came with Squash and some other vegetables I don't always see at Mexican restaurants. The overall at atmosphere and lighting was the real cherry on top of the experience and I'll be back if I'm back in Lincoln.
