We had a lovely lunch when we arrived for a two day stay at the caravan park. The female owner of the cafe, didn’t catch her name, was lovely as were her staff. Good was tasty and cooked to order. Great value, quality produce We also enjoyed a breakfast roll and coffee/hot chocolate before we set off home. Already looking forward to visiting in future

A truly miserable wet morning but welcomed by lovely staff to the warm and cosy atmosphere of The Hideaway Café. Everything is immaculately presented in the Café. Shiny sparkly coffee machines. Beautifully clean tables and chairs. The sauce bottles all nice and clean on the tables. Gluten-free cake forks are in a paper bag away from other cutlery. Customers are always asked as to any allergies when ordering anything. High standards in cleanliness and customer service. Food served by the cook/chef wearing gloves. Excellent!

Super-friendly staff. Very helpful with my GF & veggie requirements. They even tolerated my weird coffee request with a smile. I’ve been a few times now and always found it really tasty.

This is such a lovely cafe and the staff are so friendly and kind. I dropped in today with my 5 month old baby and my dog. I was alone with them both and was unable to go in to order, as dogs aren't allowed inside and I wasn't able to tie her up outside as she's very fearful. One of the staff at the visitor centre was so lovely and offered to wait with my dog and baby for a few minutes while I ordered and then the cafe staff brought the food out to me. The food was delicious and prepared very quickly, with plenty of seating outside for us to sit and enjoy the views while we ate. The food is very affordable too; they could charge a lot as there are no other places to eat nearby but they don't and that makes the cafe all the more appealing. Definitely a new favourite for me, although next time I'll plan a bit better so I don't have to trouble someone to watch my dog while I order 🐶🙈

Forth Valley Scone Rangers paid another visit here on Jun 1st 22. I have to say that we haven’t eaten anything more substantial than a scone in the Hideaway, but that’s why we go there. These are the best scones in Central Scotland - baked on the premises, large, crisp exterior, light , fluffy interior - a wonderfully balanced scone, and, in our opinion, the best scones in East Central Scotland. Sadly, no cream, and therefore 9 out of 10 rather than full marks. I ought to remember to take my own. Well done Hideaway Cafe. Hats off to the baker.

Lovely little cafe with great views. I had gluten free panini and gluten free carrot cake. Both great. A friend had the burger and chocolate cake which she enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they really make this place special. Look forward to going again.

Lovely cafe with very friendly staff. Delicious food and coffee. Great options for people who are lactose intollerant and and have coeliac. They can be totally trusted. Strongly recommend this cafe.

Brilliant wee cafe set high in Beecraigs park. Serves breakfasts, and lunches including sandwiches, panini, baked potatoes and burgers, plus drinks and cake. Caters for a range of tastes and allergies with orders take separately for anyone with an allergy and sent to a different part of the kitchen then delivered straight to the table from that team. We enjoyed well filled panini with salad and added an extra filling and chips. Everything was delicious and we finished off with cake and a cuppa! It has amazing views across to the Pentlands, Binnie Craig, Arthur's Seat and if you are outside you can see the three bridges over the forth. There are tables outside where you can sit and enjoy the view while you eat/drink. Plenty of free parking and easy access on one level with automatic doors for anyone with mobility issues. There are walks around the park as well as a visitors centre next door to the cafe. Definitely worth a visit, I'll be going again.
