The location must be one of the best in the dales the pub is oldie worldie with beams open fire and blankets for cold days I arrived Sunday afternoon just after the rush and the welcome was Yorkshire friendliness at its best ;) I ordered the Queens Arms best bitter ( fantastic) and the muscles with crusty bread once again I couldn't fault the quality of the food to the point I had a second portion if you ever find your self with in 10 miles of the Queens Arms in Litton dale pop in ! If nothing other than to worm your bum in front of the open fire and have a beer But it would be a mistake to not sample the fantastic food

What a hidden gem this place is! We arrived after doing the 3 Peaks walk tired, wet and hungry. We were greeted warmly and shown straight to our very nice & comfortable rooms so we could shower and change. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in! The hosts had even reserved us a table in the bar for our evening meal which was a lovely touch. Food was brilliant and plentiful, breakfast was lovely and we were made to feel nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

We arrived at this great little pub after a 10 mile hike in the fells. We were greeted by a helpful young girl and another lady who was taking orders. We arrived right when they were packing up and still served us with a smile. The food was superb just like the staff. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful room with fantastic touches that were great for a country hotel. We ate dinner in the restaurant downstairs which was lovely and our breakfast was great too. We would 100% go back as we loved our stay. Needed a blanket in the room. A new mattress would be beneficial as this one felt old and you could hear/feel springs.

We discovered this great pub in 2021, midway through a walk in the local area. We have returned for Sunday lunch several times since, during our twice yearly holiday to the Yorkshire Dales, and it is always fantastic quality. Great service from the friendly staff and the cosy bar area is very inviting with its open fire.

Another fantastic couple of hours.... Spent two nights here in April and just before leaving I booked Sunday lunch for October. There was, unsurprisingly, no one else in the diary at the time. Well, October came and we arrived to a full house. A splendid lunch is now over and I have just one slight niggle. Six months was too long to wait. It won't be so long next time.

Just what a country pub should be. Beautiful old building, spacious beer garden with superb views and a range of proper beers on tap brewed on site. Choose between Lamb bitter, Lamb Mild or Lamb IPA - no need for trendy luminous colours and skulls here! Highly recommended

What a great pub, in a stunning location! And they even brew their own, delicious real ales. Didn't eat, but the food looked great, especially their speciality pies. I'll be back!

Lovely pub with friendly, welcoming staff in a beautiful setting. We stayed for 2 nights in comfortable accommodation. The pub had a great menu, with delicious home cooked food. They also brew their own beers, the cream ale was a favourite. What more could one want!

The best pie I've had in a long time. Service with a smile in a very relaxed pub. We often feel awkward eating out with 3 children but were made to feel welcome and the children's fish and chips was fantastic. If only we lived closer!

We made a quick visit for a pint whilst walking. Very friendly atmosphere and good beer. Next time in the area we hope to return for food.

Just had a delicious meal here - chicken liver pâté came with hot chunky brown bread toast and lovely caramelised onion chutney. Fish pie was really tasty and the steak and ale pie also, which was packed with meat. The creamed veg was gorgeous! Wonderful service - the food arrived quickly and was piping hot and all staff were really friendly and cheerful. We will definitely come again!
