This place is very good indeed. The antidote to the mediocre offers in town. Fabulous breakfast platter. Carefully prepared and presented. Detail, all in the detail. Good coffee. Fabulous staff who actually smile and engage. Great sounds too. Recommended without reservation. 😊 Sadly they had to move. Happily just to Simpson Street in the Baltic Zone. Different venue but same appeal with a twist. Lovely. Go!

Popped in for a coffee and a light lunch today. The coffee was lovely, with gorgeous latte art on top, and the scrambled eggs were perfectly done. The staff were so welcoming and super friendly - even giving us tips on our home latte art!

Dropped in here for breakfast after reading some of the good reviews on here. Glad I did! Very friendly staff, dynamic and interesting menu that was matched by the food itself. Ordered flat white and the “eggs in purgatory”, which is highly recommended. Cooked well and the fennel in the sauce added a real zip and depth to the dish. Will go back when I next get the chance!

God, what a lovely time we had here. A little nook of a place on busy Hanover Street. The atmosphere is such a cosy vibe, with laid-back music and absolutely lovely and attentive staff. Menu is brunchy with some sandwiches and excellent coffee from roasters based over the water in Wirral. I think it's probably missing a soup of the day, but what they do, they do incredibly well. I chose the ham and cheese smoked sandwich, which comes with a fried egg and pickles, and some lovely rocket and balsamic vinegar. The fried egg was cooked to perfection, and the whole thing just worked beautifully. I had a small potato salad (which was a huge portion), which was fresh and tangy. Absolutely delicious. Washed it down with a solid chai latte. Will be back again soon.

I went two days in a row! The food was great and the coffee too. Also the staff were super nice. The food did take a bit to come out when it was very busy but not too long. Fully recommend this place!

The food here is absolutely delicious, the staff are friendly and go the extra mile. The coffee is great. My only gripe is that unfortunately, the door which is automatic, being right in front of a bus stop means that if there is a large group of people waiting for the bus, the door is wide open. This makes for draughty winter dining. Not sure if anything can be done about it really.

We came twice during our short stay in Liverpool. Their breakfast smoothie was amazing, the texture of oats and taste of peanut butter goes so well together. Avocado on toast and scrambled eggs on toast are both nicely made with their artisan bread. Portions were very good with the price.

Really good spot If you are breakfast / brunch lover. Good and strong coffee. We ordered Dutch baby and ricotta scramble eggs (special). Both were really good, the only thing is that the toast was a little bit oily. There is a table service and the staff is super nice and attentive. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. The tables are far from each other so a really good spot for some conversation!
