Maguire's Pizza Bar

Fabulous little pizza bar, all the choices are at the very least veggie and/or vegan. So nice knowing you have the choice of the entire menu! They even ask when ordering if you are veggie or vegan so they can put the appropriate cheese on plus all the drinks options (including alcohol) are at least veggie & most are vegan. Will gladly be returning!

They have a huge choice of vegan, veggie and meat pizzas, with toppings you wouldn't find elsewhere (at least as a veggie), like all day breakfast with fake meat and little quail eggs on top. Even though you can order by the slice, they make them fresh. They seem to heat the slices in an oven at the bar so you leave smelling of pizza.

Loooove the food here- awesome choice of vegan pizzas including some crazy ones with meatballs on top. Not sure if it alwayd runs but right now (April 2016) theres a few offers on, including one for £4 which will get you a huge slice of pizza, 4 garlic knots and a can of pop! Good value on the deal and deffo worth a shot vegan or not- you might not even know the difference :)

I visited this simple and cosy pizzeria as part of the "eat less bread" event hosted by the local Coeliac UK volunteer group with my gluten free girlfriend. I can only comment on the gluten free base pizzas which were the best or "closest to the real thing" I have sampled in the UK. Full size 15 inch pizzas are a very reasonable 10 pounds (11 with a gluten free base) with very generous slices from around 2 quid. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and whilst the range of drinks was not vast, that's not what you'd come here for. A simple joy executed well: good pizza and good times. We will be back.
