Really nice drinks .. manhattan amazing, espresso martini best I’ve tried. Good music and friendly warm bar staff. Loved it . First visit will be back ... tasty snacks too. Meat and bread .. mmmmm

Wonderful, intimate bar that had a live jazz band. Pez, the front of house staff member, was absolutely amazing and made our experience that much better. The drinks were brilliantly made and the cheese we ordered was very fresh. Would definitely recommend this place. At the end, Pez gave us postcards which had a drawing of him on it, so we asked him to sign it. He did with a feather and ink!
November 21, so it’s taken me a while. What a place! Lovely to go to a bar that feels authentic - our ‘cocktail waiter’ was great. Shame I can’t show the video of him dancing to the singer. We will be back x
I recently visited this café and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I must mention the incredible beer I had PALE the flavor was rich and refreshing, truly one of the best I've tasted. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations. The café also had a wide selection of other drinks and delicious food options. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful café with excellent beer and a welcoming ambiance.
Visited on a Thursday evening and the place was full and a jazz outfit playing. Everything was top notch, the staff were really friendly and very knowledgeable. we opted for cocktails which were around £10 per drink, absolutely worth it. Some of the best cocktails in the city.
The live music sets the perfect vibes for the bar. There's nothing to dislike we had a really good evening and will be back again.
This place ticked all of our boxes for a nice relaxed evening during our stay at Liverpool. The service was excellent and very attentive. We really enjoyed the enthusiasm of the man who served us. He felt like a host.

Every drink we had was delicious. After seeing someone else being delivered food, it looked so good we went for some ourselves even though we didn't intend to eat.

Last stop if the evening before heading back to our hotel and we definitely left the best for last. Really enjoyed this place and the whole experience was enjoyable. Service was spot on and the ambiance was extremely relaxing especially after a long day. Music mix playing was just the right volume and the mix just added to the atmosphere. As the evening got darker outside it only added to the cozy feeling inside.
Most perfect little bar. The atomosphere is amazing, always makes you feel so fancy. Live jazz really brings it up another level and the Chery on top is the most amazing waiter. Just nothing but good words for this place
Fantastic random find whilst searching for "cheese board near me". Ambiance and music fantastic. House wine excellent and cheese board out of this world. Cleanest and best smelling toilet in Liverpool. If you want a great couple of hours of total relaxation. Bottle of wine and cheese board for 2 £40. Worth every penny. I will be back
A very lovely cafe that feels more like a chic bar. Definitely has the feel of the continental about it. Live jazz playing too and some very nice cocktails along with pleasant staff and you end up with a real nice experience.
Downsides for me, both live music and, later, music playing on the speakers was just way too loud. You don't go to have enjoyable conversations with friends. The cocktails, while nice, were all small and overpriced really. Don't go looking for your favourite drink. They are all very different and, from what I could see, there's no thirst quenchers.
Nevertheless, the atmosphere is superb and it is clear this is a very popular place to go. Maybe not quite au français but definitely the European feel we all need right now.
We had been looking for a cheese board one Monday night to go along with a lovely glass of red wine. Googled cheese boards near my location 😄 and
this wee gem popped up. It was a beautiful cafe, great atmosphere, fab music and lovely staff. A must if you are in Liverpool.
