I'm actually shocked this place's got 3.5 on Tripadvisor. You definitely shouldn't expect restaurant food from there - it's just a small cafe for a quick bite. Staff is friendly, service is fast and they've got quite a few vegan options on the menu. I loved their iced latte with oat milk. We got ciabatta with vegan cheese and veggies + falafel and hummous wrap and they tasted just fine.

Great place to spend some time on a warm Sunny day plenty of open space to relax. Good for dog walkers. Didn't have any food but looking at other people the food did look very well made.

Coffee tasted good but luke warm. Hot chocolate and marshmallow with cream was served in coffee to go paper cup with lid and also luke warm, disappointing. Presentation was poor to say the least. Thought of complaining but my wife said why bother, we just won't come again.

Had a gorgeous pre theatre dinner today. Had the ham hock and my friend had the goats cheese. Mains had goulash and the pork. All perfectly cooked and and seasoned, service was sensational with real attention to detail. Thank you so much for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back. 👌

Beautiful meeting place or even if by oneself. Sit inside or out looking out on park. Easy parking ( 2 car parks ). Lovely food and large variety of drinks. Got to be one of my favourites

This review is solely for the cakes, I personally want to shake the hand of whoever bakes the cakes at The Reader Cafe, they are incredible and nothing like I’ve ever tasted before. The Victoria Sponge is to die for. Mouthwatering every time. Thank you for your service.

Great staff and food is good too. Plenty of seating outside for those with dogs. Great coffee and assortment of drinks.

Can get pretty busy at times the food is a bit pricey for what it is. Only downside when the old cafe was open you could take your dogs in but you can't in the new one so if it's raining you have to sit outside as no one should have to leave there animal unattended
