What a lovely friendly little cafe. And what tremendous value. Popular with the locals, it is also the nearest cafe to the railway station, it’s a 5 minute walk, just turn left out of the station, Bernie’s is on a small shopping complex on the right about 0.1 of a mile. Ridiculously cheap. Probably best value cafe I have been in for 15 years!
Brilliant sandwich very fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly also.
Popped in for lunch my wife and l and two small dogs,really friendly staff, very helpful with Syd and Bert, the dogs, and very cheap for what we had , 2 paninni and chips with two drinks each and 2 sausages for the dogs , £16, thought it was really cheap but really enjoyed it, thanks

Visiting from Australia, My friend and I happened to stumble across Bernies Cafe and oh wow, are we happy we did! The service is absolutely incredible and the food is so good (not to mention affordable). We've popped in a few times and the staff always remember us and make us feel welcome! Thanks Bernies for being so lovely!
Always amazing food at Bernies, the ladyship that work here make you feel very welcome and the prices are incredible, never had any issues here! Very clean and friendly environment
