Alex & June serve the best scouse I have ever had! They are always so welcoming to us and the dogs (who get served and spoilt first!), and it is cash only!

The best breakfast we have had in a cafe for a very long time...... Lovely sausages, not the cheap frozen ones you get in a lot of cafes. To be honest its the first time my wife has cleared her plate in a long time.
Staff were really pleasant and friendly. Would definately recommend this cafe to anyone. Next time we go I will be trying the scouse with red cabbage and crusty roll.

Decent little cafe near Garston Lifestyles gym. Good home cooked menu, friendly service and very reasonable prices.
Quirky decor and they do a great cuppa.

From the comments I've read, I'm sure Monty's Cafe is a wonderful place to enjoy a quick meal or lounge over a coffee. While this American has not had the pleasure, Monty's is on my list to visit should I ever return to Liverpool. I also hear the owner is a very lovely and gracious lady. Anyone know if Monty's serves Babycham and Brandy?

It's with pleasure I find myself reviewing one of my favourite cafes . The consistently good food at very competitive prices draws people of all types from the surrounding community as does the warm welcome from Frank and June and their staff. Give yourself a treat and try the Braising steak , liver or the wonderful scouse. At busier times you may have to wait a while especially if there are a lot of phone orders on the go. Seating can be a little cramped for big boys and girls , there are high chairs available for the little ones so family meals are a winner!
