Just love eating here...plenty of food to choose from...place is always clean and staff always on hand..service good. Good place to eat .

Before rush hour I suppose it was very easy to visit, had nice staff 4mths ago around 4pm. The plastic soup dishes are appealing though I would not call them clean plus they are so stained from the old wear it's like embedded. Some Vegetables(cucumber) or fruit (melon too cold to eat though I doubt it should be like that but great variety and good value on a city break in a cold month, toilets okay as well cheers

Went to City Buffet on 8 August for evening meal with 2 work colleagues.
Staff friendly and courteous, the seating arrangement is slightly canteen style, but this is a buffet experience- your not going for plush carpet and silver service !!
The food choice was amazing ! Pork dumplings, prawns, squid, chicken, pork ribs, beef, duck..... I could go on for ages.
All very tasty, and not ‘stewed’.
We are back in Liverpool working next week- and will definitely be eating here again!!

Value for money for the weekday lunch at only 8.20. Variety of food was good and taste was decent enough for the price. The standout for me was the crispy fried seaweed. Go here to stuff yourself wuthout blowing a hole in your pocket. Not the most authentic but it's a decent take on it

Very impressed, loads to choose from, loads of starters and every main course even the sweets were brilliant. We nearly didn't come in because the reviews were mixed but this is one place I would eat again. Oh and the staff were very helpful and attentive.

I went here for lunch today with my boyfriend and his two daughters, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, the service was perfect and the atmosphere was just lovely. I would recommend City Buffet 100%
