Popped in for something to eat as staying local for flights.
Staff couldn't be more helpful or delightful. Courteous, knowledgeable of the menu and truly helpful.
The food was spectacular and the bar well kept.
In a period of high prices very reasonably priced!!!

Firstly the waiting on staff are amazing could not fault them at all.
We usually come on a weekend, this time we decided to come mid week. We payed for a large plate, for us not worth the price. We only got one Yorkshire pudding, we also did not want the pigs in blanket and we only wanted turkey. The amount of meat we got was very poor and the quality of the cuts of the meat... Well I have never seen anything like it, it looked like it had been chewed already, lovely man not a clue how to carve.
The food had been left sat out to long and most of it was very dry and old looking.
Not sure what has happened to the speak Toby carvery but hope it's not going to be a regular thing, it's the only Toby we like in Liverpool.
Love this place. The food is always hot and well stocked, the atmosphere is always really pleasant and positive and the staff are always happy to help.
One staff member in particular who I always feels exceeds expectations is Natalie. Her attitude and willingness to help and engage is outstanding, her energy is always so positive and she is an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Would highly recommend.
The food was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and polite. Natalie was great, nothing was too much trouble for her. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We usually go to the Toby on Queens Drive but this restaurant was so much better. We'll definitely be back.
Food was absolutely amazing. Full of colour, full of flavour. Definitely worth the money. Staff were incredibly friendly as well. Bar area was immaculate and the toilets were spotless
Returned 26/6 - food flavours were again perfect, meat was perfectly cooked. Most of staff were fantastic but there was one lady called Ann which I think may have been the manager (white shirt) which was a bit abrupt when I asked for a side table rather than central. Staff seemed on edge when she was around but were great at all other times. One blemish over 2 visits. Would I return? Definitely will do
Stopped in the night before a flight. It’s been a while since we’ve been to a Toby but this was really good. Excellent friendly service from both the server and chef. Meat was melt in your mouth and veggies fresh. Can’t ask more for £9. Recommended.
Outstanding service! Manager was great and was able to seat us quiet quick, food was amazing! Staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble, thank you for the service can’t wait to return
Went on a Thursday evening. And it was packed. They got us a table for 3. Straight away. And told us to wait 10 minutes while they restock the food. So we ordered diet coke refills. So we Queue up for food. And it was all pipping hot. Fresh. And the best roast dinner I've had. Pork. Gammon. Beef. Was gorgeous. All the veg was lovely aswell. Definitely be returning. 👍
Went there for a breakfast while oit on a bike ride.Staff were very friendly particularly the young lady who served me.Foodvwas great,we ate outside.Hadva couple of really nice cups of coffee.Very clean and tidy.Will go there again.
Came up to Liverpool for a weekend with the family and had an evening meal at this Toby as it was near our hotel.
Absolutely faultless…. Hands down the best Toby we’ve ever been to. Our thanks and compliments goes to all the chefs, service team and management. Thank you!
