An OUTSTANDING performance of “Boys from the black stuff” last night by a Wonderful Cast! Bleasdale can be very proud. The set was totally believable and the Slow motion scene together with music and perfect lighting brought a tear to my eyes. Acting at its best , probably the best play I’ve ever seen onstage . Yozzer! wow! Such emotion handled brilliantly, how you do that every night .. dialogue monologue esp the Riverside scene ❤️ all perfection. Hope you come back to Royal Court? Royal Court as always fantastic never fails .

Was lucky enough to see, 'The boys from the black stuff' the Royal Court theatre in Liverpool last night. What an incredible play by such a talented cast and crew. Hard hitting, touching & even hilarious at times. View from all seats are excellent and the stage set up was incredible. There was a pretty large queue to get a drink prior to the show, which is the only negative.

The staff was friendly and helpful especially when I had a question about an item on the menu. Love the fact you can have a meal before the show and have the deserts in the interval. The only concern I have is the toilets. They was clean, smelled lovely however the toilets look like cupboard or literally water closets. If a person occupied a toilet and they needed assistance how will you be able to get to them? because there's no way to get to them especially if they block the door.
