The Richmond Tavern serves reasonaly priced pub grub in open & friendly surroundings. The menu is varied and includes vegitarian meals also reasonably priced. The added bonus is a fully stocked bar which also includes guest ales for those inclined!
The food was excelent and the service was great, we were served quite quickly and to top it off it's a very comfortable environment. Well priced food but your bill gets topped up by drinks as on most places. 9/10
Visited for the 1st time after seeing an offer for 40% off mains. If you are also on O2 you get a free drink after 5pm and a one off 2-4-1 offee on drinks between 5.50-7.30pm on a Thursday. Lovely dog and family friendly pub, all decorated for halloween festivities. Opted for the posh fish and chips and a sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce. Just delicious! With the offer, the food came in under £20 for the 2 of us. Notices they have etheme nights too, so will be going back to experience one of their Jazz nights.
Had a wonderful night at the pub on Friday, atmosphere was welcoming and warm. To my surprise they had a live band performing at the back of the pub, staff where attentive and courteous. Nothing was to much trouble for them as they explained the procedure for ordering, all in all a great night in great company Will definitely return,would recommend to anyone
Went there this weekend. It's funny, because I went to school around the corner. I passed the Richmond every day but this was the first time I ever went inside.
Lovely atmosphere. Fine service, nice staff and the food was good. An excellent pub and memorable weekend for us.
This place was in most ways, lovely. Food great, staff very nice, downstairs and outside area very clean. Ladies Toilets not great at all, 2/5 locks working and floors quite dirty. Mens apparently clean. Would return.
We stopped in for some local beers on a tour of Liverpool. We were greeted with such friendliness. It was a fun experience in a clean and nice tavern
Food was delicious. Service was amazing. Our trip was made extra special by one of the waitresses ( blonde hair and glasses)❤️ my grandson was being very indecisive with his pudding and she must of heard him and came over and got him a gorgeous chocolate brownie which he said was “perfect” ❤️ top service. She went above and beyond in my eyes. Thankyou
Genuinely one of the best restaurants I've been to in Allerton. Such a warm atmosphere as soon as your enter and you can tell the managers and staff really love the place too. I have been a few times now but this time was exceptionally good! Would highly recommend:)
We came for Mother’s Day and my daughters birthday. Table of 9, good table location, excellent service, attentive staff, cleared the table quickly between starter and main course. Overall a really lovely experience, thank you Richmond tavern. The staff are polite, smiley and kept checking we were ok.
This is our 2nd visit to The Richmond Tavern and it won’t be the last. Food is delicious the staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is chilled and relaxed all in all a lovely evening. Hubby said it’s a great pint and the burger is the best he’s had since America which is quite a statement. I had Katsu Curry which was amazing xx
Brilliant, brilliant restaurant/pub absolutely brilliant they went out the way above and beyond to help us Had a lovely meal today with a group of Visually Impaired people that used to go to the Royal School for the Blind on Church Road Wavertree the staff accommodating to make sure we were okay. They even let us bring your own instruments to play. Thank you very much I will be going back again and I fully recommend this establishment to anyone with a Disability
