Texas Roadhouse

We came to celebrate buying our new vehicle. My husband and I are both in our 60s. We haven't bought a new vehicle in more than 20 years. We drove an hour N to Syracuse to pick it up and knew Texas Roadhouse had food and service we could trust 😆. Well, our server, Nicole, was AMAZING 👏. They didn't have the handcut steak I wanted (it was after 8pm) so I ordered off menu. Not my favorite thing to do. I got the 12oz ribeye combo with ribs. The ribs were perfect!! My steak came out over cooked, I like that this location asks you to cut into your steak to see if it is cooked to your liking. Our local TR in Vestal doesn't do that. The young lady that brought my steak was not our sever, but even she could see it was overcooked. Nicole, our server, came right over when she heard and bless her heart. She looked upset about my steak. We told her not to worry and assured her I was fine waiting for a new steak. I like mine medium rare, doesn't take long at all. The new steak was perfect. Nicole went to college, where most of my family members went, we are all Mountaineeers!!! She is kind, hard working, efficient, friendly, and was a joy to talk to. Hire more like her!! Oh, and she needs a raise, please make it so!

Good food. Consistent. Our server seemed new but experienced. He was attentive and patient. Very good! Our service was a bit soured when a different server brought our entrées...they somewhat aggressively put down my plate, and when putting down a separate plate, they banged it against the others and then walked away. I know this is trivial and small, but it sent a message that i was an inconvenience. Additionally, we were in the middle of a birthday situation which, if you've ever been to a Texas roadhouse, you'd know it is obnoxiously loud. It's still fun, though. We were happy with our visit, and our service outside of that one instance was great.

I’m impressed with the service we had an amazing time. If you have a large group call ahead of time. I wish the app can accommodate more than 6 people. My group was 9 person table. The steaks are amazing some portions you a can share and our bill didn’t go over $295.00. That bill had about 6 steaks plus 5 extra sides 9 drinks and 2 desserts 🍨. Just on overall was really scrumptious. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
