This was a nice pub..we did have our 9 yr old boy with us (I was not drinking) and he was sat in a corner on my phone...but we got asked to leave after 9pm. We were there visiting family so all had to leave.
Solid pub, had a great afternoon there with friends watching the rugby. Cold beer, superb staff, great atmosphere... its a winning formula!!
Ales on tap were good, as were the Lagers, couldn't fault them. Would drink again, 5 Stars.
Stopped in the next day for a recovery Sunday roast lunch, with lots of gravy.. result!!
Visited to take son out for a meal who has just started liverpool University.
Not a big choice on menu, but this didn't matter as sometimes you can have too many choices.
Dog friendly, they even gave us some biscuits for our dog, and a water bowl.
Only criticism tv were a bit loud.
Would I go again yes. 3meals and 3 pints.
Lovely pub & staff. Good selection & always a welcome smile. Wish I lived nearer!
So enjoyed sitting outside on a sunny day with my son, daughter and partners. Plus the grandson who enjoyed the swings and a chance to let off steam. So sad they cannot be bothered to serve cask ale, as its the biggest growth in this sector. Fools.
Nice place and nice staff, but like many places there is a very limited choice of ciders, and no, I don't want fruit ciders, just apple. A choice of more than one would be nice.
Only popped in for a pint, no food so can't comment on that. Nice enough and enjoyable.
First time I've been good pint of John smiths it's the only bitter I brink
Good to see old friends again after so long, best pub in Liverpool looking forward to returning and checking the food out
