Amazing food, ordered sides as was expecting a tiny meal given the low price, but wasnt needed. Very good portions and friendly service.
FYI Stops serving at 6pm on a Sunday.

1st time I've been there in over 30 years and talk about being back in the 80's . it's staff are excellent they knew after 1 beer what I wanted for the next round . Nice clientele and I will be frequenting the hostalry more often as it's closer to where I live than going to Waterloo . I only live near The Litherland/ Priory .

Great local pub with Sunday dinners to die for at a great price, only criticism is there is not a great choice of lagers on offer.
