Beautiful roast dinner and the service was perfect. We went as a group of 6 and could not have suggested anything to improve the experience. We all had different deserts and they were delicious. I cannot recommend highly enough. Worth a visit.

An absolute delight.
The food is on par with - maybe better than - top restaurants in Cardiff or London. But this place is far more special.
Refreshingly unpretentious, traditional but thoughtful menu and vibe. Feels like going to old friends' house for dinner (if your friends are amazing hosts/chefs).
May be wrong, but got the impression that the hosts do this for the sheer joy of running a great restaurant - this makes it such a rare experience.

Lovely little restaurant, with great staff. We went as a large group (10), and all our needs were taken care of , including little cutlery for the small children.
High recommend the creamy garlic mushrooms. Also, the puddings is amazing!!!

Fantastic food and service. Caroline was extremely welcoming from arrival and was patiently attentive to our table. Chris catered for and adapted meals to suit our vegan needs without hesitation and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend, thanks for the great food and service!

Lovely place and delicious food. We mentioned there was a vegan in the group when we booked and they provided options for all 3 courses and made great dauphinoise potatoes for me to go with the mains.

We have eaten here a number of times now and every time we have been greeted happily and offered some really good food. Starters for me don't have many options I would choose from but that's me. Mains and desserts have lots to choose from and I'm yet to be disappointed.
This is an unassuming restaurant with only a few tables so booking ahead is recommended.

This is by far the nicest restaurant I have ever been to.
Run by a husband and wife. The wife hosts, the husband cooks and the are both brilliant at their jobs. The food is fantastic and oh my, the puddings 😍
Clean, tidy and friendly. Very much worth a visit!

Fantastic food and service upon our visit last week. Very attentive and (medium) rare that a chef comes out to check his meals are okay for the customers, great touch 👌...we went for the Black Pudding Stack and Mushroom/Goat's cheese to start with steak and lamb for mains. Great portions as well and is a must for any visit or stay nearby!
