Wildwood Restaurant

First visit..food very good and cooked fresh to order so had to wait a while. Asked waitress to take orders separately as needed individual receipts..she put it all together and caused a problem when it came to paying bill so had to get the manager to sort it out. What a lovely gentleman he was and couldn't be more apologetic, he also knocked off service charge. Need to book as very busy. Will eat there again

Busy place, we walked past the night before and it was packed around 7.30. We went at 6.00 and again very busy. Food was good I had a philly steak sandwich with fries it was warm though not hot. My partner had the prawn risotto which was very spicy. A nice place that is obviously very popular. Some of the tables are close together. Maybe not for people who like a more quiet eating experience.

Beautiful place with amazing food and a lovely atmosphere. The service was quick and they were very attentive. I appreciate also that when the bill came the waitress told me there is a service charge and she is happy to remove it if I am not happy with it but considering the service I was probably going to leave more. Thanks for seating us on a short notice

Our large party booking was delayed half an hour, but the staff were accommodating and gave us a free round which was nice. The food did take some time to arrive and there were a couple of mistakes in the order, but the quality was good. The ribs were amazing and the normal pizzas were of good size and quality. The staff appeared to be somewhat under pressure. With a little more attention to detail this place could be 5* across the board.

Overall a positive experience. The manager was very attentive to our needs (vegan) and the service although there were a couple of hiccups was good. They were definitely understaffed front of house so I feel they did very well under the circumstances. The food was served warm and was very tasty indeed, we all had pizza. We will be back or better yet when will you open a branch in Chester?

The food was very good, tasty, hot, and flavoursome, the service although friendly was not very attentive and quite slow. I am not sure the female staff member with short hair should be making a fuss of the customer's dogs sitting outside while serving, purely from a hygiene perspective, nothing against dogs I have two myself. I would also prefer to leave my own tip rather than you assuming a tip and adding it to my bill, but overall I liked it.

First time visiting this restaurant, having past it many many times. We were glad we decided to give it a try. Food was delicious, fresh, hot and very tasty. Manager is very friendly, polite and very accomodating. He keeps himself very busy. The young lady that served us was also very friendly, polite and attentive. Food came out at a reasonable time as you’d expect from being made fresh. Wasn’t long at all. Can highly recommend the spaghetti carbonara (with added chicken) and the garlic bread with mozerella and caramelised onions. Very tasty! My wife is a fussy eater and has worked in a Italian restaurant as a manager in the past for an Italian family so she knows how authentic Italian food should be and even she was impressed with what we had. The restaurant is immaculate, nice atmosphere and modern decor. All in all a very nice experience at Wildwood. We will most certainly be back many times. Compliments to the chef!
