Temple Bar Inn

I have been using Temple Bar every week for many years now and there’s good reason for me going back. Food quality and quantity for the price is phenomenal, the drinks are cheap and the friendly locals and regulars make it an inviting place to be. The cosy back bar with wood burner and tv is a nice place to settle down after a meal whether it’s to watch sport or have a game of cards at the card table. There’s a full size pool table, quiz machine and two dart boards to keep the teenagers entertained and I’m sure the other regulars would welcome some new challenges. The staff are friendly, attentive and hard working, the owners are welcoming and are happy to mix with the customers, they don’t force you out the door and focus on chasing your money, you can run a tab for your food, go to the bar next door and keep adding drinks and pay just before you leave. If you’re reading the reviews to decide on whether to try this restaurant then all I can say is go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
