Went for a childs birthday party and had a very nice mixed hot/cold buffet. Quality food, well presented and tasty. Bar service was a little slow. As it was a childs party, there was a soft play area to keep the young ones occupied, the only downside was the plastic balls were not restrained and the floor quickly became swamped with them!

Very good friendly staff. Highly professional. Great food and great prices (£13 a bottle of decent wine). Amazing outdoor space. Clean and tidy. Great for any occasion.

Absolutely brilliant .staff are friendly . Food is some of the best I've had . The place is lovely and clean a great area out the back for the kids to play . Hand have a beer. Of which there are plenty to choose from . Go here for a great time . Simples

Easy walking distance from home to this hidden location.
Again the weather made this into an enjoyable afternoon in the sunny beer garden ( v child friendly with play area)
Good greeting on arrival and had very good food at affordable prices made all the more enjoyable with a v nice " on offer " bottle of Chardonnay.
We had chicken curry half & half with naan bread & crispy beer battered fish and chips. Highly recommended.
Even if weather doesn't keep up will visit again.

Location is lovely and have a beautiful surroundings.
Back area is brilliant for family as plenty for children to do.
Staff are extremely polite and had amazing service.
Food was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again .

Great country pub with amazing open fires and lovely garden. Fully enclosed so it's really safe for the kids.
Menu is good classic pub food and was hot and tasty. Service was prompt and firendly.
It's a hidden gem just off the dual carriageway but it's well worth the search.

Staff are very friendly and you can have a bit of banter with them. Good selection of larger and beers which are changed on occasion. Food menu is comprehensive and the food is very good, wait time is ok, can be a little long when busy but as expected. Interior is well decorated and the beer garden is large with a good area for kids. They've a guest peacock who visits also.

since their take over it has excelled. great for kids with a park and on times an outdoor bouncy castle. lots of outdoor seating and now also do outdoor movies. live peacocks wander the beergarden and surrounding area. lovely atmosphere, one of my favourite places to go for food and drinks with the family
