Hands down the best Sunday lunch I've tasted at any pub/carvery. Dinner that tasted home made and gravy was stunning. I've had the lamb three times and never had even a scrap of fat on the plate. Would highly recommend.
First time today, after wanting to try it for ages. I was not disappointed, food was amazing and dessert was included in the price too.Cannot recommend highly enough, staff were very friendly and accommodating.Only 2 negatives, which were no reflection on the staff or Inn itself, but more of a heads up. We were sat next to a family with children who had peppa pig blasting on a tablet, which ruined the chilled atmosphere (maybe if there were an option to be sat in a different section this would be favourable) and Parking was a bit of an issue, due to a church being near by but by about 12.30 they had come out n car park a bit emptier. Overall highly enjoyable sunday lunch and venue, and we will be returning very soon. Compliments to the chef :) :)

What a little gem of a place. We stumbled on this by accident and I am so glad we did. What absolutely beautiful food. The place itself is nice and intimate with friendly and helpful staff. The meals are well prepared and tasty. We had the pie which comes with a large fluffy top and mushroom sauce that I could bath in. Stunning. Well worth a visit but not to many of you or I wont be able to book. Oh, and don't forget to order a bucket of the Mushroom sauce
I was here on a work night out about a week ago and must say that it's really nice to have a proper pint in a proper traditional local pub!
The selection of drinks was good with a mixture of familiar bigger names and local guest ales and beers, pricing was very reasonable for the area and the staff were excellent all night.
It was a particularly busy Saturday (thanks in part to the crowd from work), yet the wait at the bar was minimal and the staff dealt with it really well.
The gent who served me was clearly very knowledgeable about their guest beers and was even able to recommend a great pint when I fancied a change, describing taste notes and colour accurately, showing a proper understanding of product knowledge and the art of brewing in general.
Overall, an excellent little pub which is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a pint or two!
Proper old fashioned pub, great Sunday lunch (dessert could have a bit bigger) good service and atmosphere. Hidden gem of a beer garden as well.
Lovely place deff be returning staff excellent and welcoming we had two dogs with us hot day and water was provided with out even asking also location is amazing
Always a lovely Sunday lunch, really nice staff, can't recommend this place enough.
Good food and fantastic waiting staff. We will be back soon.
Lovely Sunday lunch.
Fantastic staff.
Lovely surroundings.
We played Pool in the Pool room and didn't go in any other room. The drinks were average price and enjoyable. A nice friendly atmosphere.
I recently ate here with a few friends, we are all vegan and the options were great! So lovely to have this place so close to home. Staff were very helpful 🥰
Warm welcome and warm log burner - great heart to the community - pool table/room and traditional pub bar and table/chair layout
