Excellent service for our group of 11. The staff were more than accommodating and our platters were amazing, so much so we had to request they withheld the final dishes as we had been fed so much quality food Definitely recommend and we will return!
Four of ate at Tangia on Friday night, it was the first time for all of us. Decor was nice, service was fast and friendly and most importantly the food was great we didn't have a desert but we shared starters and had a main each. We couldn't fault anything, everything was bursting with flavour and we'll definitely be returning in the not to distant future.
I took my friends here for a birthday celebration after a friend of mine told me how amazing this place is. We enjoyed every single dish, and service was also excellent. The owner himself is was cooking all those dishes which made me sure that everything is fresh and to the best quality. They also made our singing of "happy birthday" a real fun where they played a special song for it and brought for the celebrating guys funky hats, so we really had a good time. Would recommend 100%!+
First of all thank you so much to all staff for making our evening so special. A special thanks to Mr. Mohammed who served us and recommended us all the courses we had, and he definitely got it right. The food is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere. Surely we will be coming back soon.
Went here for a quiet dinner with friends and the staff were an absolute delight. They went out of their way to engage my little boy and brought him some wonderful little portions of yummies. The wine was absolutely delicious and the food was really good as well. I tried the prawn starters and squid - both yum. The dipping sauce was also nice. The mains, veg tagine with couscous, perfection!
I found Tangia to be a very warm, welcoming restaurant with great hospitality. Nothing too much trouble, comfortable seating and authentic in setting too. The food and menu were impressive too; lots of grills, salads and tagines to choose from at very reasonable prices. My grilled sardine to start was a little sparse, with only one fillet on the plate, but it was perfectly cooked. Then the roast vegetable couscous I chose was also delicious and sat on a sweet and sticky raisin and chickpea sauce. This I found to be a little under seasoned, and I would have loved some more chilli heat but this is a minor point. I'll definitely be back to try the meat dishes and really look forward to it
Great food, amazing staff and a relaxing restaurant.
Cost us (2 people) £50 for 2 courses with a sides on the main each. Was very good value for the evening we had.
The food was light and skilfully cooked, lots of nice touches like fresh baked bread and hummus were brought to us without asking and the owner/chef came and asked us about our meal as we payed.
I like personal touches.
Can not recommend this place enough.
Great service, friendly staff and we got to meet the head chef. Went here for my wife's birthday party and we're not disappointed. The food was served sizzling hot in their tagines and everything tasted delicious. We tried mixed starters, fish, beef and lamb shank as well as grilled chicken. Portion size was spot on, was very hungry and felt really full afterwards. A great find to come with friends and family
read a lot of good reviews about tangia on the web but never had a chance to visit it until today. I was so amazed by the customer service of the waiting staff especially the guy. The food is absolutely amazing. There was nothing I would want to change about this visit and restaurant.
The fried calamaris were very chewy( haribo alike) and the breadcrumb was burnt and not holding to the rings , the sauce served with it was sort of tangy /tomato salsa, not the best at all
Tangine meatballs was rather good, nice sticky sauce , well matching the meat and saffron rice
Lamb steak was really good, juicy, flavoursome! Only the sauce accompanying the meat was a big miss
Very nice and friendly staff too. Head chef usually comes and makes an appearance. Food was lovely. Full of flavour. Great interior. Recommend.
Loved everything! The starters, wine, mains, dessert, music, ambience and very attentive staff. A winner for me! Definitely I will be back soon.
Great food and nice maroccan beer! Had two starters and a main between two people which was a great amount of food. We had the chicken tagine and it was cooked to perfection!! Simple and tasty. Definitely the best Maroccan restaurant in London!
Lovely atmosphere and service. Food was of great quality and arrived in good time. Moroccan Mint Tea was fantastic to finish
Lovely traditional dishes and very attentive staff
Nice food! Very kind staffs
Nice cozy Moroccan restaurant with homely atmosphere and decor. Serves good tagines and mint tea. Friendly and attentive staff. The chef himself comes out and chats to the customers to make sure they are well looked after and satisfied. Since it is a small restaurant, it can get busy some nights especially over the weekend.
