Amazing restaurant in Lindon. The food was great, all our orders were delicious. Plates were nicely presented. Staff is nice and the service quick. Highly recommended
Delicious food and great service. The staff was courteous and helpful in providing recommendations . We ordered quite a few items and they were all pretty good .
Food is delicious. Service might tend to be slow.
My favorite item is the sashimi with truffle.
Also I loved the spinach leaves with sesame dressing were good yet pricy when compared to size.
Very good Japanese food. Great service and ambiance. Extensive menu with all the traditional options. The black cod was good including the lamb chops. Really enjoyed the rock shrimp and soft shell crab.
My favourite place to brunch!! Unlimited wine, unlimited starters from the buffet and a great main. Always a really good atmosphere and friendly service. I have been quite a few times and would never say no to going back!
Great food but one of the Hostesses was very rude!
We just finished our dinner here about 30 minutes ago - we got 2 seasonal menus which were pricey but the meal was great and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, on our way out one of the hostesses was quite rude for no discernible reason. After handing us our jackets I said "Thank you" - her response was to let out a deep, exasperated sigh and roll her eyes... My fiance and I were momentarily stunned by this response. It kind of spoiled an otherwise perfect meal. I can't begin to fathom what we could have done to warrant this kind of reaction from her as up to this point we hadn't had any interaction with her at all (the other hostess seated us). Have to say again though, the food was very good!

First off, I’d like to apologize once again to the woman at Roka two tables down for hitting her in the head with my chopstick. I have no idea how said chopstick went from being in my hand to in your hair, but it happened. Thank you to the gentlemen at the table next to me for attempting to take the blame, when we all know it was me who clearly can’t behave in a fancy restaurant. Also, thank you to physics, the real reason hilarious stuff happens.
Beautiful place and food! Visited with some colleagues and overall was very pleased with our experience (was my first time). The only reason why not 5 rating - we waited for our food a little long. Otherwise - definitely recommend to visit!
Good quality sushi and nice ambience. Make sure you booked in advance as they get fully booked pretty quickly. The portion for starters are quite small but the rice dishes are fairly big.
Nice , woody decor and the best selection of 'robata' you can get. If you think you like grill, you have to try this. The chicken is skewred and come with spring onions, I have also discovered a really good sake, the dassi 39, an excellent variety.
The price is more justified by the attention to detail in the service received.
Food was tasty, but no more special than many other less pricey restaurants.
Cocktails were as they should be, alcoholic and moreish!
The ambience was strange, felt like we were in a thoroughfare, constantly being passed, by patrons and staff.
Overall a lovely experience - perhaps my expectations were too high, which is why it didn't get 5*s 🤔
Overall a good experience .
Ordered :
Wagyu - loved it ! I usually avoid wagyu but this particular one was just right !
Scallops - my ultimate fave at ROKA
Yellowtail hamachi
Lamb chops
Lots of pineapple martinis - these were delicious and recommended by our waiter (love that!)
Lots of HennyXO
The bar area is my favourite as it isn’t as noisy as the main restaurant floor !
God is it noisy in the restaurant !! Especially as this was a weekday and the local CanaryWharf crowd were everywhere and you can’t hear yourself think!
Besides that, I enjoyed the food A LOT! I love coming to ROKA and ordering their grilled scallops on the skewers ! Always massive, fresh, juicy and perfectly made ! Shout out to the chefs for scallops !
Service to me is great when the waiters, sommeliers and attendants pay attention and suggest dishes based on what you may have already ordered. My waiter recommended the yellowtail jalapeño WITH truffle as I enjoyed the one without so much 😋 I usually order two of these when I go to ROKA because I enjoy it so much. Tangy, fresh, thin and melts in ur mouth!
The bar tender was also able to make my Brandy Alexander, I always ask for this and as it is a on off menu cocktail, what I usually want to hear is “Yes of course I’ll ask our bartender”.
Bartenders should be able to make any drink NOT just the ones on the menu 💕
Roka at Canary Wharf is a sushi lover's paradise. The sushi here is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavors. The ambiance adds to the experience, making it a fantastic choice for a night out. Highly recommend for sushi enthusiasts!
Really lovely delicate food. In the heart of Canary Wharf, staff was good and the restaurant was lovely, the taste was great but maybe not as outstanding as I had hoped for the price we are paying. £400 for four of us and we felt whilst the meal was good, there are room for improvement.
Great lunch deal… a little of everything and will surely fill you up! Beef fillet and baby back ribs both good taste and good portions… for the price, it is surely worth it (£36pp) for the servings. Nice touch for the anniversary dessert free of charge. One thing to improve would be the pace of serving the mains, our tempura and rice were behind 10mins and so the meat had lost its warmth.. overall great service and good value for money! Will be back for lunch. Ala carte pricing is much more expensive.
A very nice place! We came here for lunch and were very impressed. It’s great value for money and the quality as well as the service is amazing. We loved everything and will come back and also try their dinner!
Fantastic brunch on weekends. £79 with sushi, sashimi, starters, mains and dessert or £89 with unlimited wine and prosecco. Very good value for money, great selection of sushi /sashimi. Makes sense to go in a group to taste all the good main dishes. Thumbs up, will be back!
Beautiful place in central London overlooking the city. Sleek and minimal Japanese design. Service was wonderful.
Many interesting fusion items that did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the mashed sweet potato starter.
Overall is nice, but the sashimi I had was small in size and was so thinly cut, they could have cut the fishes more thickly. If not bigger pieces. I mean I don’t mind the portion but at least they could make it more proper.
The sushi rice was fluffy and tasty.
The lemon and lime garnish etc was not very fresh considering the price.
May visit for screwers next time, though.
Great food - different and tasty and full of textures. Service was good but not great (we had our cocktails arrive after the first dish had been put on the table, and the wrong wine arrive later in the meal). But overall very recommended.
