as far as i remember, the best fish and chips have ever had, fresh and crisp, super in taste, quick service
ordered doner as well, but it wasn't up to the expectation, was really dry
This is a bright and cheerful little restaurant off Tottenham Court Road that does an interesting combination of fish and chips and Cypriot cuisine.
I was ravenous when I went here for an office lunch and this was comfort food that hit the spot perfectly. It was a large group and among us, we sampled the breaded calamari, classic fish and chips, shish taouk and kofte. Special mention to the mushy peas. Yummy.
It felt a bit cramped for a group of ten, but I'm sure would be ideal for 2-4 diners.
My English friend who lives just outside of London recommended this place to me. As an American I’m used to very big portions. This restaurant was very generous! It was hands-down, the most beautiful fish and chips I’ve ever seen in my life. It was also phenomenally delicious with fresh ingredients. They clearly know what they are doing. The owner and staff were very charming and accommodating as well. Thank you!
The guys who work here have been here for decades and it shows. The first time I came here they recommended the cod and chips and I certainly was pleased with my meal. I have since been here multiple times and their food is consistently delicious!
Stopped by late on a Wednesday and they had only the take away shop open. Not a great time to go, as the fish pieces and chips seemed to be past their prime. Still a good experience, but this is the fast food version, and I’m looking for a little more crunch of the coating and freshness of the fish. Plus the guy was not friendly at all. Again, it was near closing time.
The best place we had dinner,when we were in London. Everything tastet delicious:) the staff was really nice and serviceminded.we had different meals and all off it was great. :) Best burger ever, my son said. Thank you for this great experience. Next time we will try your fish and chips :)
I went with my family to have a Saturday dinner at this restaurant, despite the busy time the service was fast. Relatively low prices, tasty food (we ordered falafel, lamb and chicken). Very kind staff. Place is clean. I recommend it!
Is one of the top 10 restaurants for Fish and chips and totally agree. Is delicious and a good portion. Definitely is a must while in London.
We chose this restaurant weeks ago when we were back in Australia based on the reviews and the fact we could have good old English fish and chips with white tablecloths! Lol. Andres and his staff did not disappoint, welcoming, funny and great service. We were catching up with friends we haven't seen for 30 years, and lingered for 3 hours without any pressure to leave. Highly recommended 👌
Our tour guide said this was the best fish and chips in London and we have to agree! The food was absolutely delicious. It only made it better that the staff was very friendly and extremely welcoming to our 2 year old! Would definitely recommend.
It took me 16 months of searching since arriving in the UK to find truly excellent fish and chips. Chris and the team at Gigs are a great bunch of guys that know how to deliver excellent food. Keep up the good work. I'll be back for more very soon.
Unassuming little restaurant with surprisingly delicious Fish & Chips! Staff was very attentive and welcoming. Great option if you want a quick and tastey meal.
