I was in London for the weekend on holiday and I’ve been craving Nigerian food. So when I found this place on google maps I decided to give it a try and I wasn’t disappointed! The food and the service were both great! I had the egusi soup. It was a great size and extremely tasty.
Charming little restaurant serving Nigerian and West Aftican food at reasonable prices and also heavily catering towards vegans (but not exclusively). We were looking for a Nigerian restaurant and came across this and wow what a pleasant surprise it was. The food tasted so nice albeit a bit spicy of course because that jolloff rice is meant to kick a bit. Staff were super friendly and helped us in ordering. The ordering is done all through an app with a QR code which makes life easier. It’s a small, cosy restaurant on the North End Road, they have a nice terrace outside and some indoor seating too. We paid £55 for two and thought it was good value. They seem to be on Deliveroo and UberEats also. Looking forward to coming back and trying new food as their menu is huge!
The music was very loud as if I was in a club 😂 it’s a vibe but we had to ask the staff to turn down the volume a bit coz we were literally shouting to each other Food was great in general. Flavourful and good in portion😍 Oxtail was not tender and a bit hard to chew and eat tho😩
