L'affaire

The restaurant is a gem in a not so swanky neighbourhood as Wandsworth! The food on the daily basis / regular menu is amazing (my fav being duck), but their Sunday roast is a pure poetry! Lovely interior and always great service makes a place worth traveling to, if you are not local to Putney or Wandsworth. Highly recommend to people appreciating good wholesome food, it is a great mix between French sophistication and English countryside pub charm.

We've now been to L'Affaire 4 or 5 times and we have always had a really good experience. It's become one of our favourite cocktails bars in Wandsworth and Putney. The food is well prepared and delicious, the cocktails are excellent, and service has generally been good. It's a slightly expensive restaurant for the area, but you do get good a great atmosphere with quality food and a touch of French authenticity. L'Affaire has a separate steak menu and as a big red meat eater I was very impressed with both the quality of their meat and their ability to get it perfectly cooked. The restaurant area inside is nicely quiet until about 8:30pm, when it gets slightly louder on some nights (Fridays & Saturdays), but still remains quiet enough for a good romantic date night. We highly recommend L'Affaire and are looking forward to returning.

Great space: lovely beer garden outside, comfy sofas for reading or "match watching" inside and a lot of space. They are child friendly and have high chairs, as well as very kind staff who are understanding ane flexible when ordering for small children. They also have a small stage inside, but have never had the opportunity to attend one of the comedy nights... Just yet.

We attended a 21st Birthday party here last night & was really impressed. Fantastic chilled atmosphere, great cocktails provided by professional, attentive & friendly staff. Food was tasty & interesting. Quirky & comfortable beer garden added to the ambience. We had travelled from Leicester for the occasion but will definately call back for a meal next time we're in London.

Newly refurbished and opened bar specialising in craft beer and claim to have the best cocktails in London... so challenge them! Nice modern and funky feel, very bright and relaxing especially as so close to the Wandsworth one way system. Super friendly staff, especially the 2 owners I met today, garden looks great and the dining room/area is really nice. Give it a try
