We 4 people all vegetarians went there for a quick meetup after 5 long years and food didnt disappointed us. Drinks were more than ordinary. Food - ordered a Pizza, Calzone, simple Arabiatta vegetarian pasta and a Fungi Misti Pasta.Pizza was good, nothing extra ordinary, however the Calzone and Arabitta Pasta were great. Arabiatta was on spicy side, the way I like.
Coming to desserts we ordered a Vegan Blood Orange Pie - absolutely delicious, a Pistachio & Olive oil cake...well moist and some scoop of ice cream. All ended on good, sweet note.
Good in a pinch. Even though it is chain it is always dependable. Good specials, pasta dishes are of good quailty, pizza is so-so. Better than most around Paddington Station.

We stumbled across the restaurant after a long hot walk in the park. The air conditioning was great and at the time, that was the most important criteria for us. Everyone loved their order in my party and the food tasted of true Italian.
Very pleasant experience with warm welcoming staff.
The food was delicious, and was kindly offered plenty of Parmesan. The restaurant was decorated nicely throughout with very clean facilities. Would highly recommend this branch.
The atmosphere is incredible as the main room looks beautiful with the wooden boards and vines mimicking a winery you would find in Italy. We ordered pizza and it was delicious as well as two drinks! Will go again.
We had just arrived in London from a 6:40a flight down from Inverness. My wife and I were tired. The girls were hungry and cranky. A couple right turns from the hotel at Paddington Station and Googling stuff led us to ASK Italian, and it was JUST what we needed for lunch. A whiff of basil and a friendly hostess greeted us. I later learned it's a chain but who cares. The food was excellent, our kids ate a good meal. The wine was delicious. After doing the £ to $ conversion in my head it was even a great value compared to what we're used to in the States at comparable quality. The atmosphere was light and sunny. And, get this: our hostess (regretfully I don't recall her name) brought over a little plate of carrot sticks, bread sticks and marinara sauce for our 5 and 7 yo daughters as soon as we sat down with a cheerful, "Here you are, my lovelies!" That was a women skilled in her craft -- she helped us (and everyone in the restaurant) avert a hunger-fueled meltdown. Bravo. We went back for dinner🤗
I visited ASK yesterday (Tuesday 8th August) with my brother for dinner before our train home. We were seated promptly after entering and the staff were very attentive after being told of my brother’s nut allergy. As always, the venue was decorated beautifully.
We ordered the cheese fondue to start, the pollo de casa and a lasagne, and two chocolate etnas for dessert. The food was perfect.
The staff were very friendly and their customer service was perfect- especially considering how busy they were! They even got our desserts in to go boxes for us as we were worried we may miss our train and allowed us to pay our bill whilst we were waiting.
Thank you for your hospitality!
We found both service and food were excellent. Also, very clean with impressive toilet facilities. Recommended.
I had an excellent meal here today with my girlfriend. Its definitely in my top three Italian restraunts in the UK I have been to. The food tasted really good, the price was reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered two dishes (Calzone Carne Piccante and Beef Brisket Pappardelle) and the staff kindly gave us two separate plates so we could share the dishes. I would have had dessert but was too full. I definitely reccomend this Italian restraunt if you are in the area.
The restaurant has just had a major refurbishment so everything is brand new, including some really cool outdoor seating which will be great as the weather gets warmer again. Being keto I couldn't comment on the pizza / pasta , but had a fantastic sea bass and swapped out the potatoes for brocoli. They had an unusual Rum I'd not tried before and the coffee art was on point 👌 The table I was on ordered a variety of starters to share and everyone loved the fondue.
The sustainable Gin was also a hit, I think it was called Saplings? Apparently they plant a tree for every bottle produced.
Partner and I throughly enjoyed our meals which arrived piping hot. Everything was tasty and was good value for money.
Service was fine; I could see that the servers were busy which I totally understand. However there was one waiter in particular who was running around like lightning which we found a little off putting when we were trying to have a relaxing meal. The restaurant was also quite cold on our visit
Was just what I needed after a long walk through Hyde Park. Gorgeous gluten free pizza and a refreshing cocktail!
