Great location at a corner of Russell Square. Excellent cannoli and full English breakfast. The tiramisu is tasty, with the cake in the middle, but not large. On a rainy day the acoustics indoors can be loud.

Fantastic authentic Italian cafe in a quiant park. Amazing food at amazing (for London) prices! Speaking as a northern, this was so surprising and felt like a hidden gem. Love that it's family ran, the Italian accent on staff was strong, and the food was Bueno!

Caffè Tropea is a great place to go for breakfast, especially if you're looking for a French-inspired meal. They have a wide variety of pastries, croissants, and sandwiches to choose from, as well as a full coffee and tea menu. I especially recommend the iced Americano, which is made with fresh espresso and has a delicious crema on top. While Caffè Tropea does have a few pork and beef options, there are still plenty of choices for those who don't eat meat. I had a delicious quiche and my friend had a croque monsieur, both of which were made with fresh ingredients and were very tasty. The location of Caffè Tropea is also great, right next to Russell Square. This makes it a perfect place to stop for a quick bite to eat before or after a walk in the park. Overall, I highly recommend Caffè Tropea for a delicious and convenient breakfast. Here are some specific things you can mention in your review: * The cafe has a wide variety of French-inspired pastries, croissants, and sandwiches to choose from. * The iced Americano is especially delicious, made with fresh espresso and a delicious crema on top. * There are plenty of options for those who don't eat meat. * The location is great, right next to Russell Square. If you're looking for a delicious and convenient breakfast, be sure to check out Caffè Tropea!

Good coffee and lovely sitting area in the park! The staff were friendly! And good prices. The cannoli we tried wasn't great, but the sandwiches were ok. Recommend this for a nice coffee in the park.

Excellent place for breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese on ciabatta, it was delicious. I also had a chocolate croissant that was tasty, and the freshly squeezed orange juice. We all enjoyed our breakfast here. You go inside and order, they give you any pastries and drinks and then you get a number and sit down. They will bring the order to you for any cooked items. Just a heads up, you have to pay for the jams if you want that on the toast that comes with the english breakfast.

Lovely weekend visit to Russell Square on the two mornings of our stay in the area. A really hidden gem Cafe coffeehouse with license within the garden areas. Great food at reasonable prices. Clean, dog friendly and family vibe about the place. Fantastic food with really prompt service. Lovely place for a visit..Eating in a park can't be beaten. Excellent experience.

Service was quick, order and pay at the counter and they will send your food to your table. The gnocchi was the special of the day and I recommend trying that one out if it's available. We sat outside to enjoy the sunny weather and there were plenty of tables available when we got there around 10 am.
