Booked via Zomato - reservations for 2 on a Saturday night and was surprised I was able to manage this the day before. Booking was smooth and when we arrived, a table rightly so, was waiting for us. Service was great with waiters on standby in case you had any questions. The food was okay and not as high quality as I expected given the reputation for the place. The portions were small considering the price we were paying for the food. We did have a good time nonetheless and would consider coming back if we ever craved seafood again (Being a born and bred Aussie, I'm still on the hunt for a great seafood restaurant in London).

I was aware of the Wright Brothers restaurants but never really thought of giving them a try because in my mind they were too much of a "chain" and whatever prejudices I have against these were clearly stronger than my curiosity toward the place. However, a friend of mine works nearby and suggested we have some oysters after work, and I never turn down oysters. Never.

I'm glad we went because I can safely say the fish is all fresh and great quality. The oyster selection we had (pictured) was fantastic and the rest of the menu was more creative than I expected and somewhat Asian inspired. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant and service is professional.

Good place to keep in mind when craving fish 🐠

I absolutely love oysters. I’d eat them everyday if I could, particularly my favourite type: Speciales Gillardeau. . In London, some of my favourites oysters are from the Richard Haward stall in Borough Market – they’re consistently plump and “fresh-off-the-sea”. However if there’s a specific place I’d recommend for variety and reliability, I’d always opt for Wright Brothers Oyster House in Soho.

In a city where lots of new things steal your attention and the latest trend may turn out to be a disappointment, it's really nice to have some restaurants like Wright Brothers where you know you can always have a great meal and a great time.

These mussels were fresh and really big. They tasted very sweet, however the only let down was the sauce itself.  The garlic was too strong and not enough sauce to dip my bread into.Roast Dorset Cod Filet, samphire, leeks, wild mushrooms & truffle oil – 4/10. Loved this place for the seafood selection in the menu. The atmosphere is super nice and the service has been great. It has been my first time and I will definitely come back when I'll have the chance.

They deboned my fish in record time. I felt embarrassed yet impressed. These guys know their fish. Seriously impressive and seriously delicious. Not cheap, but definitely cheerful.

Go as a group to better sample what they have to offer, it would be a shame to stick to one dish when everything is just as delightful.

So this weekend I (Sammii) went to the Wright Brothers at the Kingley Court in Carnaby Street. Me and my flatmate both had a craving for oysters and to take advantage of their happy hour between 3pm to 6pm of £1 per oyster we decided to go for a lil brunch!. It was surprisingly not very busy, I would have thought that it would have been very busy because of the happy hour, but it seems as though the happy hour isn't very well promoted and it wasn't written anywhere or postered up! Good for us, we were seated right to a table and the place had a nice relaxed atmosphere.

If you're a fan of oysters - and I can't think of any good reason why you wouldn't be, because they're great - then you've never been short of places to indulge yourself in London. Pretty much every gastropub or mid-range restaurant worth its seasalt has at least some Rocks on the menu, and a good few go even better than that, with some zingy Natives on offer (at least, in season).

Food was excellent. Service initially was not ideal had a waitress who disappeared and we sat for 20 minutes without any drinks or food orders. Eventually spoke to someone and service improved. We will go back however.

Delicious dishes, seafood prepared & cooked to perfection. The service was ok although there were a few odd comments from the waiting staff. Mains were good value but the starters not so much, still very tasty.

Love the seafood at Wright Brothers The menu isnt cheap generally but their £1 oyster deal in the afternoons is great. I took a friend who had never had oysters before and she is now a fan! Went back a few weeks later with more friends and they all loved the oysters. Great vibe in the afternoons too!!

Great selection of seafood! We had the seafood platter, oysters snd clams were wuite fresh. We also had some baked oysters and they were equally tasty as the fresh ones! Higy recommend trying the baked oysters! Beef and fish carpaccio were very nice and well-seasoned, sauces were really good! They have happy hour for oysters during the week so be sure to check it out.

Flat out incredible seafood. We built our own platter and it was excellent. Everything on the menu looked delicious but I highly recommend the selection of 12 oysters as it allows you to try a good range. Plus the whole crab was super tasty. Good choice of Champagne and Prosecco and all reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

The service was good although one of the waitress was probably new as she knew little about the food. The seafood platter was good, the food and wine selection was good. Portion size on the main course was small. Still felt hungry after the meal.

Hidden gem in the heart of soho, they have happy hour where some oysters are £1 a pop. Great value for money. Oysters were really fresh and they have a great selection of cocktails and beers to go with them.
