I would personally disregard some of these low star reviews. I rate a restaurant by the quality of the food and service. I would of course take ambiance into consideration too.
The food, can't complain - it's delicious. Cocktails were great. I had a burger and I reckon its in my top 4 burgers I tried. The shrimp was awesome. The steamed wagyu beef was also very tasty.
A very big shout out goes to their cheeseburger crispy roll... that stuff actually tastes like a Big Mac!
The only thing I didn't like was my partner's udon noodle soup. Not my thing, too salty and lacks in taste in my opinion.
A colourful Japanese burger joint from founder of Nobu. Cozy and casual decor and atmosphere. I came here mainly to try the burger so cannot comment on other items.
Beef Burger messy, very good bun, holds well, premium patty. A bit on the salty side probably because of the cheese. They cook it medium rare which is fine. I think it will be burnt if you ask for more. Chicken burger was equally good. Service was friendly and efficient. My waiter was a young girl from Romania who was very professional and attentive to details.
This place despite not actually being an authentic Japanese restaurant, it was a great fusion place.
The wagu meat was great and you really cant order wrong on the menu, it was a descent price too.
There was an amazing dish that can only be described as a cheeseburger in a spring roll that was so innovative and creative.
Great Japanese place. Cozy and the staff is friendly. Service is very good and the food is top notch. The Wagyu burger was very tasty. Would recommend this place if you want a quick bite. Bare in mind you will need to book in advance during peak times
Honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve been too. Service was amazing, food came out quickly. The vibe was great, such good music too!
Food was absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced, I couldn’t fault a single thing.
I recommend booking a table as in the evenings there can be queues.
10/10 would go again!

This place stands out pretty well in the midst of the smaller homey places in Chinatown... almost too well. It really looks unbelievably corporate and already I was concerned, but we went for it and I can say I left fairly happy.
The atmosphere is a big draw; every room is very well-decorated and enjoyable to sit in. The dining area downstairs is quite dark and mainly illuminated by these two fake car headlights that shine pretty harshly on tables.
It's pretty western in that they really push you to buy extras here. From the moment we sit down it was "Would you like sparkling water? Can we start you off with some edamame? Is that ALL you want?"
Beers were £5+ for a regular 350ml bottle, and I got the chicken karaage which was put down as a "sharing" dish, for some reason, but priced a lot lower than the average dishes at £7. You get a fair amount of chicken and I'd say it's a solid pick for a lunch or snack.
Service was strong despite the place being pretty packed, and they welcome you when you enter. Cocktails were £10+ from what I saw. Not a terrible place by any stretch of the imagination.
