Amazing experience at Chotto Matte. Staff were attentive and eager to ensure we picked a delicious combination of sharing plates. Sushi was ample and fresh. The best dish was the pulled mushroom tostadas which again were generously portioned. The atmosphere was perfect.

Who would think a place that sounds like another Sushi place serving Japanese food at the outset would serve the BEST EVER VEGETARIAN food. Having grown up in a culture where vegetarian food is presented with lots of flavours, I wasnt sure ai was at first booking thr right place for my friends birthday visiting from another country and who is a vegetarian. I had my own share of doubts but BOY O BOY this place took me by surprise with its chef tasting menu with 8 course meal of the BESt EVEr taste.... The food portions were amazing and I actually ended up having to get some left overs packed for take away as there was no way I was wasting this food... Each and every course presented to us was bursting with best of flavours. I am personally a non vegetarian but we went with Restaurant recommendation to have the same for whole table and I am glad I made the choice for vegetarian for the whole table. It is a FIND I have added to my diary.

Arrived due to some recommendations from friends and we love Japanese food so had to try. The place is in a great location and has a great vibe, the toilet visit was a show🤭. The food is oriental and Spanish… but I think they over did it. Too many flavors in a dish. Such as lemon added to the creme brulee. But the cocktails were awesome!

The venue is lovely, the music was great and the food was exceptional, however we had a few issues with the service. Firstly, our waiter disappeared after bringing us some of our food and never came back. When I queried it with another member of staff (after waving wildly several times at other staff), he laughed and said "oh well you have a new one now". For the prices you pay in a premium venue, this is not good enough. I would have expected a handover before he left. I made him reduce the standard tip from 15% to less than that, as I was not impressed. Secondly, he failed to mention that if you order 4 or 5 things, they all come at the same time and don't fit on the table, so they nearly knocked our wine off the table trying to squeeze everything in. I would have ordered in batches of 2-3 things if I had been alerted. Lastly, the chairs are also extremely uncomfortable, but when I asked for a small cushion, they didn't have anything available.

A nice venue in Soho London. Japanese-Peruvian cuisine has much to offer. Their Páddron peppers were sensational. Clientele less trashy than some similar eateries, though not at the Nobu level of sophistication. Definitely better than all incarnations of the Ivy. Less expensive than I had feared.

Amazing food and drinks, very creative menu and fresh food. Great service, staff are very friendly and the overall atmosphere is nice. Located in the heart of Soho and srounded by many bars. Recommend booking in advance as it can get very busy.

The sushi was amazing. Service was acceptable as sometimes they were incredibly attentive and other times no staff were around. I really did enjoy the dinner and would like to go back and try the tasting menus.

Booked here very last minute (morning of) via phone call and they were lovely - felt lucky for a Saturday evening! I booked initially for 7 but had extras come along which they graciously accommodated for. It was for my birthday and our main waiter who took care of us, Ilyas, was great! He explained everything well and was attentive in service. All the waiting staff were lovely. I got 2 sparkler candles with my desserts for my birthday like I asked and can say my guests and I all enjoyed the food immensely and some have already said they will be returning soon. I loved the octopus most and the purple mash was delicious! Passionfruit creme brulee was divine and I sneaked a taste of my husband's magic chocolate ball dessert and highly recommend this also! Also as I don't drink alcohol, the mocktail selection was great!

Best sushi in London. The restaurant has just undergone a refurbishment. The decor is stunning, UV/neon lights all on the wall. Very instagramable. The food is insane, we had the sea bass ceviche, yellow tail sashimi, padron peppers and the dragon sushi rolls. This was a light dinner costing £100 for two people. Including one cocktail. The restaurant does offer tasting menus/set menus too. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

Had a great meal last night with my Mom! In fact she said it was the “best meal of her life”. The yellowtail was amazing, as was the black cod, and wagyu beef! Service was amazing. Ambience is very cool with music playing (not too loud but just loud enough)… highly recommend dining here!
